This adult-focused hotel (now allowing children 15 and older) is located on the hilltop with views of the harbor. Perfect stay in Ukee! All the perks of a five-star hotel with the coziness of a tiny boutique hotel. Beautiful, well-decorated and comfortable unit. Great location with an awesome harbour view and an easy walk to anything you might need - from restaurants to groceries to trails. Surprisingly quiet despite the central location. And the hot tub was a welcome bonus after a long day of hiking! Highly recommend.

Waters Edge Shoreside Suites, Black Rock Oceanfront Resort, and The Francis Boutique Inn got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Ucluelet.
Many families visiting Ucluelet loved staying at The Francis Boutique Inn, Pluvio restaurant and rooms, and Cabins West.
We found the photos of Easy on the Edge not accurate. We thought we would be in the trees and not beside the Road with a house on either side of us. The Laundry room door is not appropriate as there is access into the Suite. We did not appreciate that! The laundry was done for the 3 nights that we were there, up to and later than, 9pm. Our dog did bark as she could hear noises in the laundry room and could hear and smell the dogs on the other side of the door. There is a quarter inch opening in the laundry door, so our dog could see through it. It would also be helpful if there were instructions regarding the TV and the re-cycling and garbage. We definitely did not see any coffee, just tea. Thank you.
We love staying in Ucluelet as it is cheaper than Tofino and close to a beautiful hiking trail that goes along the beach. Zoe's cafe and bakery for Breakfast, for great coffee and homemade breakfast sandwiches, Abudanza for Pizza and Seom for amazing Korean food. Recommend a reservation for Seom....its busy there on the weekends.
Ucluelet is one of my favourite places to visit. I love walking the Lighthouse loop and the Wild Pacific Trail-the views are spectacular. We do the Lighthouse trail, followed by drinks at the Blackrock on one day and then the Wild Pacific Trail the next. I was so hoping the Wild Pacific Trail would be extended to the park, but I guess a big developer from Vancouver has bought the land and is not allowing the trail to extend beyond it's current location. How sad! There are great places to eat and cute places to shop in Ukee as well. Long beach and Tofino are close at hand so you can spend a day at the beach and another in Tofino.
Everything was close by. We felt safe cycling around the area. Several trails nearby ranging from an easy loop around the lighthouse area to the Wild Pacific trail with it's Artists Loops. The trails have many lookout points giving panoramic views of the beautiful and rugged coastline. We enjoyed the tasting flights along with our charcuterie platter at the Ucluelet Brewery tasting room. Brown's Beach and Big Beach were both pleasant stops. Definitely will be back!
This was more of a personal retreat for myself so I was inside the turtle shell a bit this trip. Ucluelet is beautiful, people are nice and the scenery is phenomenal.... I would like to go back another time and find a way to respect the locals rather than own their town. Again beautiful destination on Vancouver Island
The room was right in the harbour. We were able to see the boats and the tide come in and out. The linens and towels were great! We loved the heat light in the bathroom. Nice location close to lots of restaurants. We ate at the pizza place Abba gonzo?(spelling?) The pizza was delicious and the salad was great too. It was worth the wait. They are very busy! We would stay there again.
Ucluelet
After holidaying for almost three weeks and staying in hotel-style accommodation, it was great to stay in a self-contained cabin. We had our first home-cooked meal since we started travelling. The cabin is well located, backing onto a forest and within a few minutes walk of part of the Wild Pacific Trail. It is also less than 2 km from most of the shops in Ucluelet. The cabin was quite spacious, with ample room for four people.
Ucluelet
The breakfast was a great variety of hot and cold choices, from eggs and toast to yogurt, baked treats and homemade preserves. We were well fed to start the day off running. The location was perfect - easy access, very close to everything in Ucluelet and a short ride to the Pacific Rim beaches and Tofino. Our room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Alice was a gracious host, friendly and accommodating.
Ucluelet
This was my second stay at this hotel, and it once again was excellent. Rooms are very spacious and clean. We were on the second floor so the room was very bright and sunny, and we had some views of the ocean and mountains. Great location, close to everything in downtown Ucluelet including shops and restaurants. Lots of parking. Front desk staff were lovely and very friendly.
We enjoyed so many things about our stay a this hotel. We were in a ground floor, pet friendly, room as had our pooch with us. The room was a great size, the bathroom was huge with heated floors, everything was modern and newly renovated. Breakfast set up is great. Location was great. They provided a dog pet, bowls, blanket and treats, would absolutely stay here again.
Ucluelet
This place was better than we expected. It accommodated our multi-generational family perfectly. We were in the best location to get to the docks early in the morning for fishing charter. All appliances were wonderful. Lots of dishes and glasses. The decor was comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend for a place to stay in Ucluelet.
Location is right on the wild Pacific trail about 5 mins away from the artisan loop. Room was spacious. We stayed at the studio lodge and the bathroom was huge. Exactly like the room photos on the hotel website. Bed was very comfortable. Nespresso coffee maker was a nice bonus. You could watch TV while soaking in the tub.
Ucluelet
The location was tucked away on Hyphocus Island. Close enough to the hub in Ucluelet and far enough from it to be quiet and peaceful. The unit looked out onto an estuary where we saw eagles during a morning stroll. We brought our bicycles and rode to several of the nearby scenic beaches and trails.
Apartment was clean, view from the balcony was fantastic, property is Pet friendly and closer to lots of walking trails. We like the place so much that we decide to stay another day, the receptionist was nice and helpful. I’m glad she wasn’t the same receptionist from the first day.
Ucluelet
I loved the kids room, the bunk bed was awesome and enough space for the playpen for the 5 month old. I loved that it was pet friendly. A nice cozy warm place and the perfect amount lf space for our little family. It was awesome.
Ucluelet
Our balcony had a nice view. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and updated. Hotels in the Pacific Rim area are very expensive, this hotel is competitively priced.
Ucluelet
Bed linen and towels were adequate, clean, and plentiful. The room was dry and warm in a very wet place--Ucluelet is a rain forest. Parking was nearby.
