I loved everything...the staff was great the room was more then I could have asked for, and the location was amazing...the beach access was perfect 🥰 . Featuring apartment-style units, this Wasaga Beach motel offers free Wi-Fi. A garden includes BBQ facilities and picnic tables, and a kitchen is provided in each suite. Man, when I arrived I was shocked at level of “party” that was underway. Definitely like solid 8 outta 10 at that point. Never before had I seen a man wearing pink pyjamas with cactus’s on em before, but there he was! It was then that I knew I had picked the right place! If you wanna order some pizza, Boston Pizza is right around the corner, I placed an online order and it was there quicker than any delivery order I’ve ever placed before! Amazing. While enjoying this cheesy greatness, a surly man appeared from the shadows and sat down at the next pair of chairs to us. He was a CHARACTER. “Jake the Snake Roberts” they call em. One of the most engaging individuals I’ve ever drank into the wee hours with in my days, and boy lemme tell ya I’ve had some experience in the field! His outlook on life was fresh and invigorating! I dare say he changed my life!!! I’ll never forget the Sharodon Sands, what a place, what people. I expected no less from Wasaga Beach and I was not disappointed. Will you be?
I like the laid back atmosphere of this city, the tranquility as not too much crowded, the cleanliness and last but not least, the very beautiful beach that has many different access within different points in the city. There is also Collingwood and the fantastic Blue Mountains village less than half an hour drive from the beach!
Retail venues on the beach strip were closed! (keeping in mind, i was there during wk not wkends) It's easily a walk about town. There is a public bus line which is needed & it needs expansion. Thankgoodness for Wasaga Cab :)
Wasaga Beach is a national treasure that needs to be protected and should remain as a public domain. It has great beach appeal with quaint shops and a multitude of places to stay even within walking distance to the beach. There are many places to eat and often weekend events for extra entertainment (Car rallies, volleyball tournaments, midway, etc.). The town and province need to preserve the shoreline and visitors need to respect the beach by Not bringing glass and cleaning up after themselves. Use the recycling and garbage facilities provided and enjoy it for years to come! Don't forget the numerous towns nearby with many of their own attractions to accommodate those wanting to do more than relax on the beach.
Good, clean beach, not overcrowded, you can buy anything there:clothes, sand toys ,inflatable stuff for swimming, tents, beach umbrellas, food, ice cream,a lot of parking lots near the beach. Overall great experience. Definitely will come again. Didn't notice any lifeguard.
They should have more supervision around the beach for safety and protection. Specially at evening and night the beach is scary to walk around, Restorant’s feel scare to stay open as well as stores! Police supervision is more need it in the area specially with all restrictions for Covid! Overall is a beatiful beach!
The beaches were fantastic our room was the worst I've ever stayed in and the price was one of the most expensive I've ever paid for such abysmal quality. Due to covid you can't get into a restaurant without minimum 1 hr wait, and the party atmosphere near beach 1 is not where you want to be with kids. Pack your patyand do not stay in the shabbiest rooms ever Wasaga Inn on Main Street.
We were surprised to find out that the manager was kicking us out due to the fact that we had 2 dogs and he said that we lied to him. We actually booked here because it was supposed to be a pet friendly motel. He said the room was too small for us and 2 dogs even though we were only staying for one night. The best part is that he did not even offer to give us a different room. I would never recommend this motel to anyone.
Other family has stayed here before, just last month. Room was clean, just a basic room which is fine because we're there for the beach and only need a place to sleep at the end of the night. Slept two adults and a 6 year old no problem. All the rooms were booked and considering the closeness to the beach and beachfront stores etc it was still quiet enough. We would stay again.
Room was clean. Staff very polite & helpful. Location beautiful (5 minute walk to main Wasaga beach/shops/bars etc). Outdoor pool clean & warm. Shower not the greatest (water temperature fluxuated/little water pressure). Besides that....$145.00 with tax very decent (especially considering location right next to main Wasaga beach area). 🙂
Elena was great, she got anything we needed at anytime with no issue or attitude so she has great customer service. Place was clean and beds were cozy for our family. Bugs are no issue other than a few usual mosquitoes. 5 min walk to the beach which saves on parking which is $21. Nice and quiet away from the main strip so the cottage is near beach 5.
- Beach is 1min away from motel - Extremely clean pool - Friendly staff - BBQs available on site with a shelter cover in the event of rain - Main Street was a close walk away - Many food options nearby beach and on Main Street - Free parking - Strong wifi connection in room, able to use internet without connection lagging
The staff was extremely friendly and made sure to do everything possible to make sure we were comfortable, for the money spent it was very nice and clean, I will definitely be staying here every year when I come to wasaga beach.
Staff is very helpful Area is good Location is near by a lot of other locations and sandy beach
Great Location. Fun amenities and very clean. Staff were very friendly as well. I will definitely go there again👍🏻
The owners are just fantastic people. They go out of they're way. To make your stay a pleasant experience
