We had an excellent stay in Frutigen! The house was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. The surrounding views of the Alps and mountains were absolutely stunning, making every moment feel like a postcard. All the amenities were complete, and everything we needed was provided. Parking was available, which made things even more convenient. The host was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Truly a peaceful and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the Swiss Alps in comfort!

Great hotel, large room and bathroom. Very clean. Parking is available in front of the hotel, 6-8 places. In walking distance from a large supermarket and the train station. Location is good to reach attractions or hikes in the area either by car or by train/bus. We were issued guest cards, which could be used as tickets to travel free by train or bus within a specific area. This area included the train to Kandersteg and a discount for the cable car to Oeschinensee.

I recently returned to Hotel Aeschi Park after a two-year break, having stayed there several times in the past. It has always been one of my favorite places to stay near Interlaken, and this time, I was truly impressed. The hotel has undergone major renovations and upgrades, and the improvements are remarkable. The rooms now feature modern, elegant furniture, with a clear attention to comfort and aesthetics. Everything feels fresh, clean, and beautifully designed, creating a cozy yet refined atmosphere. What made this visit even more special was the new management, who deserve sincere appreciation for their warm hospitality, excellent organization, and thoughtful service. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help. I sincerely thank the entire team at Hotel Aeschi Park and wish them continued success. Without a doubt, this hotel will remain my first choice whenever I visit the region again.

There is absolutely nothing to do in Frutigen town.

There is absolutely nothing to do in Frutigen town. Its a very idylic but scenic town with stunning views. However it has limited eateries and no pubs or bars. Public transpost (trains) is every one hour from main route i.e from Spiez which limits your travelling flexibility.

Great base for relaxing holiday with all the mountain...

Great base for relaxing holiday with all the mountain walking opportunities you could ever want. Adelboden and Kandersteg valleys right on doorstep and easy car trip to Grindelwald - Lauterbrunnen and all the attractions there. Bachalpsee above Grindelwald is absolutely worth the visit but expect a lot of tourists taking social media pics! But walk back to Grosse Scheidegg and back down to Grindelwald and you have it all to yourself…. Eagles, marmots, chamois, swallowtail butterflies and gentians galore. If it’s just a relax you want go to Faulensee on the Thunersee.

Venue is very secluded.

Venue is very secluded. This is meant for hikers and campers and not for families travelling place to place. The eating area is infested with flies that makes it very unhygienic. The room has no air-conditioning and the window has no grills and makes it unsafe to be left open with children. This caused us to sleep in a window shut room making it extremely hot in the summer with only a fan to provide ventilation. They have no hot water kettles to boil water for children

We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all...

We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all of us. We had so much fun and never even used our car. We loved the village and the hiking path along the river. The restaurant was very good. We also enjoyed the restaurant next door in the botanical garden and fish farm. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place to all families.

The host was very responsive and responds within minutes if not in seconds. The apartment was very clean and the decor was very nice. It is a home away from home. The kitchen is ready for you to cook; it is filled with everything you may need. Also, a walking distance from the apartment: many restaurants and two supermarkets. Warning: The amazing view and comfy seating in the balcony will prevent you from exploring the areas around. Do NOT miss the sunset if you were there.
