The best host and staff I have experienced on my travels. The host even returned my money because I had to leave a day early, although he didn't have to, but the man is truly honest and very good. Everything was nice, tidy, and clean. The property, staff, and host are a perfect 10+++

Amazing staff, great food, atmosphere and pretty nice rooms

This is an idyllic spot in the River Aare. Something magical about the place. The lodge is a lovely building, exceptionally quiet. Good bed. The bar downstairs is great. Prices as expected. Coffee available, alongside yoghurt and fruit. Overall, we had a marvellous stay.

It is 1.5ks from the city centre so close enough, but with the advantage of feeling like we were in the country. The breakfasts and the dinner were delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly! The beds were very comfortable. Nice shower with a strong waterflow. Very clean!! Loved our stay!

Great location, in the city centre, in the historic old town. Close to everything. Vintage furniture is a nice touch.

Breakfast was first class.also evening meal was excellent. Staff were very efficient and helpful.most spoke good English.locals were very helpful.

For those who revel in the grandeur of bygone eras, this exquisite small hotel is sure to enchant. A splendid Baroque château nestled amidst a picturesque historic park, gracefully situated just a short distance from the distinguished city of Solothurn.

It was perfect for an overnight stay driving south from Zurich to the south of France. I don't think we ever got to meet any staff. The check-in was digital and very easy. There's an ok-ish restaurant on the ground floor where one of the waitresses told me there might be someone in the 'office' in the morning - I wanted to borrow and adaptor. The room was big and very comfortable, but it was strange not meeting any staff.

A simple hotel providing excellent value for money, handy for the train station. Extremely clean.

Professional staff, clean & comfortable & large rooms, stunning views of the medieval old town, a mere 10’ walk away across the bridge.

The room was very clean, spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. Completely new renovation in very old building. Quiet at night and no church bells ringing every hour. Never heard a churchbell even thought it is next to the old church. Bathroom was also very clean with L'Occitaine body wash and shampoo - a nice luxurious touch! The breakfast was very good, plentiful with lots of choices. The dinner also excellent with high-quality ingredients. Would definately stay here again. Hotel and restaurant staff very polite and accommodating to our needs in the rooms and the restaurant. I can highly recommended this hotel.
