Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around.
Horgen is a charming little village, lovely to walk around. It has a quaint centre and a beautiful waterfront. Easy travel into Zurich by train. Easy travel to mountains and skiing by train or car. Good supermarkets with good opening hours. We didn’t try the restaurants as we were visiting relatives but we did get a great takeaway - burritos. Esther is a lovely lady and met our every need including letting us have some space in the fridge for our cool bag. You have free use of the balcony and I highly recommend this with views over Lake Zurich. There is a lift inside the apartment block and there is parking on the corner with a meter its only 1 CHF per hour and free from 18;00-08;00.
