The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The accommodation had everything we needed, with a comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen (including coffee machine), great shower and a cozy lounge. But the location was amazing, up in the hills away from everything in the fresh air. I loved seeing all the animals and sitting outside and just enjoying the peace and sounds of nature. We caught the bus and walked up the road (requires a bit of fitness) which was fine because the Swiss transport system is fabulous. Isabelle was a fantastic host, friendly and available if we had any questions. We would love to stay again.

The location are wonderful along with fantastic staff. Everything was perfect especially Ms Eeren. She explained to us all the facilities along with our concerns. The view from balcony is amazing.The kitchen is fully equipped and there are a supermarket near the location.The parking of the car is available and considered with the apartment rate. I recommend everyone to book this apartment the view.

Next to a beautiful lake, a fair few restaurants and cafes around, plenty of walks available. Plus it's pretty easy to get to by bus from Interlaken (which is beautiful as well). Quaint. Rural. Friendly.

Beautiful little town.

Beautiful little town. Lake brienz cruise is the perfect start to the trip. Can't visit the waterfalls around the lake or just walk along the promenade. We were lucky to be there on 1 August - swiss national day. Got to see fireworks at the lake. Beautiful sight at night!

A tiny village in the centre of Switzerland. The place full of flowers, gorgeous gardens, happy people living there. One can even feel the calmness which fills every nook, every street or path of this place. Go there, don't rush yourself (what for?) and relax taking a stroll. Grab a cup of coffee and let your eyes smile, and your soul cry just because you have so little time to immerse yourself in such beauty.

Very nice small city next to lake and perfect views of mountains, you can rent boat or other stuff and swim in the lake, you can take wonderful pictures of the lake and mountains around, easy and very nice to go Interlaken or other places around the lake by Ferry.

Iseltwald is a lovely plce for you to stay if you are senior...

Iseltwald is a lovely plce for you to stay if you are senior citizens and happy to make your own sandwiches. It is quiet and fabulous if you like drinking your whiskey in the balcony looking at the lake and surrounding mountains in a quiet atmostphere.It is blessed with exceptional views . There are some restaurants around but not so great in terms of the quality of food . The only shop/post office closes at 5 pm. So it depends on what you are looking for.

Iseltwald is a quiet village but it is a really good base to travel to surrounding areas. The lake is extremely beautiful with the turquoise water and there are activities to do on the lake, eg, rowing, a ferry, etc. One needs a car to get around to other places of interest from Iseltwald but it is very central to get to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Schilthorn, etc.

We enjoyed this location as a point to explore the lake and the nearby mountains. It was clean and quiet. The main road is at a distance so the apartment is quiet and feels safe for the kids playing outside. It's a professional location with a hotel, so picking up the keys was routine. It's a few hundred metres from a great diving board and ladder into the lake and we swam a few times a day. Lovely.

Its heavan. Helena is so awesome person. We came for our honeymoon and the stay was absolutely amazing. She is so nice and has kept room and stay in perfect condition with everything inside. We even cooked inside as everything was there. She welcomed us with Lindt and flowers. And Iseltwald and location is straight out of dream. Would recommend this stay to everyone. Once in a lifetime experience

The view was absolutely stunning, even better than shown on the pictures. The hotel was easy to find with many parking spots. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Everything Iseltwald offers is within a hand's reach. I would love to stay here again some time.
