I thought the rating of 7 is a bit harsh as I found the hotel to be quite adequate. Yes the property is old, but it is well maintained and clean. Adequate free parking and lovely view of the lake contributed to a pleasant stay. Did not take dinner or breakfast so can’t speak to the food service.

This truly wonderful place in a picturesque little village makes you feel like the time has stopped completely. Even though there was no personal contact with the staff, the communication was excellent and very kind at all times.
