The people were especially brilliant Great local food served well with superb beer What’s not to like !

Great location, good value, helpful staff, comfortable room

I had an extremely quiet and peaceful stay in one of the most picturesque hotel locations. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (they let me use my parking space beyond my stay, were very accommodating with check-out times and were very welcoming with the evening meal). The hotel is very clean and well-maintained and sleeps remarkably well given the absence of noise and light pollution. The breakfast is very generous and varied: a real pleasure to start the day.

Location and staff were excellent

I liked the old school look and feel of my room. It had lots of wood and character. Its location for riding the alpine passes is just perfect and a secure garage for my motorbike was a definite bonus. As for the staff they were all Amazing nothing was too much trouble and they always had time for a chat. I also ate in the restaurant on both nights of my stay and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

We ran late on our road trip the two owners waited for us and welcomed us at 23:00. They were so accommodating and warm, offering us a welcome drink and making us feel at home. This property is newly renovated and in mint condition. Food is amazing and on a different level! If you are in the area this is a must do experience!

Such peace and quiet after the day-trippers are gone! The amazing view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. A nice big terrace.

Location, the historic vibe, the people- all excellent

Very friendly staff - excellent bedding. We had a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was good. Location is perfect.

The location is easy to reach, the hotel is friendly, all staff without exception make you feel special and the restaurant provides excellent food. Will definitely book here if/when I return

Perfect in every way. The proprietors were very kind and looked after us well, amazing breakfast, good ski storage, waterproof mats for storing ski boots, comfy lounge area, good sized room with lovely balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing! Great rooms, very comfortable! Fabulous breakfast, awesome restaurant! It has a proper sauna, top spa, a well equipped weight room with a community aspect that i loved. Just the most lovely view you can ask for when visiting the Swiss Alps. The staff? Amazing! Thank you Simon, Robert, venezuelan breakfast lady i forgot the name and a special thank you to Stephenie, you are the best! Will definitely return, highly recommeded!
