This hotel is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Hertiage Site Swiss Alps - Jungfrau-Aletsch and offers an 2625 ft² spa area with a sauna and an indoor pool. Spacious room which was great for a family. Pool area was well maintained and easy to access. Location was great for families and there was plenty of parking. Very friendly waiter at breakfast who spoke multiple languages.
The Hotel Restaurant Aletsch is situated right at the Mörel train and cable car station, only a 10-minute train ride from the UNESCO-protected Jungfrau-Aletsch Area. Breakfast was super fast and convenient to get onto my next events of the day. The staff was super helpful with storing my bike in the basement, and conveniently available to leave luggage there after checkout to finish my day's hike without carrying all my things. The balcony was a very nice place to eat my dinner.
Serviced Apartments Wallis enjoys a sunny location halfway up the Aletsch Glacier, near the town of Mörel. Spread over several buildings, the spacious apartments all have a balcony and a kitchenette. The apartments are huge with a big terrace. Very quite place and you can use hot-salt bathes in the hotel nearby cheaper-than-usual.
Located in Mörel in the Canton of Valais region, Apartment A im Grünen, Mörel Breiten features a balcony. The property is 18 miles from Grindelwald. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Really appreciated the fondue and raclette equipment. Great idea to have these as cooking options.
Beautiful location within very short distance from very nice hiking paths and very close to the Aletsch glacier. I loved! The surroundings and scenery are breathtaking and make you feel grateful To the Universe for the opportunity to see them. We did go to Bettmeralp, which is incredible. Really worth to visit!
We came in winter for the skiing. The skiing area is extensive and has magnificent scenery. Only criticism would be that nearly all skiing is above tree line so skiing difficult/inadvisable in foggy or snowy conditions. The outdoor activity possibilities in the summer look interesting. Our highlight was lunch at the Panorama Restaurant Gletscherblick at the top of the Eggishorn cable car. The panoramic windows revealed stunning views of the the Aletsch glacier and surrounding mountains. The food was tasty and reasonably priced for a restaurant perched on top of a mountain in Switzerland.
Free hotel shuttle bus to ski lift was punctual and made the location very convenient.
Way too expensive for non existing service and mediocre hotel
