This hotel is a gem. It was a last minute booking, we booked it 30 mins before we arrived. The room was cottage-style and the view was breath-taking. The hotel is located uphill, which makes the view even better. The neighbourhood is quiet and you can hike nearby (they give you hiking maps). There's a beautiful river nearby.

The view is amazing, although your car has to work for it😁 The beds are super comfortable, the house is spacious and clean. Kitchen has a lot of utensils and cooking necessities (like salt, pepper, oil, kitchen towels), but also a coffee maker. Overall the house feels very friendly, clean and accessible to guests, I definitely recommend :) Also, the person managing the booking is very accommodating and kind.

We absolutely loved it. The owners are the most caring people, rooms are very comfortable, meals are fantastic (and prepared with organic local ingredients!) and the atmosphere is a truly Swiss Experience. We will be back!

Amazing place to stay for a total ski lodge experience plus more. Staff very friendly, all food was amazing (breakfast included; we decided to also purchase lunch and dinner from here and have zero regrets). Despite it being a short stay we felt at home and like it was 'our' place. Incredible views, great snow. We decided to spend a bit extra on the wellness centre (spa and sauna) and were so glad we did. Would love to return one day.

The hotel was so adorable and centrally located. Everything had such personal details down to the namesake on the breakfast tables. We loved how the tables were set up with our last names and a welcome message along with the napkins shaped in to hearts. Breakfast was amazing with fresh jams and delicious breads, and basically anything you would want and more.

Very nice view, very nice staffs. They offer amazing Swiss Alpine style breakfast which we really enjoyed! Whole grain alpine bread, enough vegetables and fantastic cheese.

Not sure what to make of Mörel....not much here i was there for the 2025 Aletsch Half-Marathon, Mörel is a little dated so don't expect much perhaps you should consider other very close options like Bettermeralp

Mörel is centrally located for visiting the surrounding...

Mörel is centrally located for visiting the surrounding mountains and at the same time close enough to the town of Brig. Shopping is available here, and the sights (Saas Fee, Leukerbad, or Zermatt) are easily accessible by car.

A site close to the terrain to explore in this magnificent region for those who love high mountains, the view of glaciers and snow-covered peaks and to take long walks or even to explore superb, very well-marked routes.

Okay for one night with a motorcycle.

Okay for one night with a motorcycle. The house is in dire need of renovation. Unfortunately, everything is very old and extremely noisy. The flooring, in particular, urgently needs replacing. There are some nice spots in the village if you leave the main road.

The staff is aware the hotel is a bit outdated, but they try to make the most of it. The room was well-prepared and clean. The hotel is next to train station, so it is a good choice if you are travelling by train.
