Located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Rooms-Zimmer has a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. The guesthouse has family rooms. My room was upgraded! Lily was very helpful and the place is really clean. I like the place so I decided to extend my stay on the spot.
Set in a historical building dating back to 1707 in the center of Uhwiesen, Les Mignardises offers a garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities, free WiFi, and free parking. Very spacious and clean, the keys were in the mail box so didn’t meet the staff. It was very well equipped and had everything we need to cook, recommended.
Located in a quiet area in Schaffhausen, 1969 feet from the Rhine River and 1.9 mi from the Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe, Hotel Park Villa features an à la carte restaurant serving... This hotel is one of the most beautiful I have stayed in. My partner and I would definitely revisit. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The owner was very lovely, and his story including a brief history of the hotel was published in a magazine which we read about over breakfast. We were upgraded to a beautiful room without knowing it until we walked into the room #17. The hotel is designed in a period style down to the very last details, and staying in the room was like being transported to another era. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms large and beautifully designed. They have an antique appearance, but a modern way of functioning. The addition of a tennis court was really nice, and although we didnt get a chance to play ourselves, we watched others playing from our balcony and enjoyed the spectacle. The park next to the villa provides a serene and blissful setting, and brings more nature into the surrounding town. The way to the Rhine Falls is a walkable distance from the hotel along a lovely river path. We decided to dine in at the restaurant for dinner and were not disappointed. The prices were very reasonable for the portions, quality, and taste of the food. We each received a large platter with the main course and two sides--very generous portions. The fish was very fresh and delicious, and the staff were able to accommodate my dairy allergy gladly (something I am never able to encounter in Germany without a fuss), and used fragrant oils to cook my meal in instead of butter. We also ordered a white wine of the staff's recommendation to pair it with, and a most delicious dairy free dessert afterward. Breakfast at the hotel was also superb and included with our room. They provided fresh salmon, cheese, meats, delicious ripe fruits, and a large bread basket. They also provided orange juice, coffee, and high quality tea. The entire experience of staying at this hotel is more than worth the price.
Located amid a park-style garden, this family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the Schaffhausen Train Station and the city center. Very helpful staff - especially when we tried to book a taxi. Location was also very good - close to station but in a quiet leafy area.
Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century. Very charming and beautiful renovated hotel in the middle of the old town of Schaffhausen.
Located just 16 feet from Schaffhausen’s main square, Zum Schwarzen Adler is a historic building in the Old Town’s pedestrian zone. directly in city center and close to train station. very nice appartment with comfortable bed and many amenities, nespresso coffee machine, fast internet, and most important of all a very amicable host who greeted us like friends. check in and check out was easy as well and the staff was competent and friendly.
Dating from 1654, this traditional hotel in the historic center of Schaffhausen is just a 5-minute walk away from the train station. Hotel2B features the restaurant US-Mex and has a bar. Everything. Great location as it was a short 8m walk to the Rheinfalls area. The Café / Pub on ground level was lively and great for those who love a drink. Owner was amazing generous as she paid for my parking ticket (CHF40) as the hotel parking was full. It was no fault of her as I was informed that free parking lasted till 8am but I woke up late and got a ticket at 830am. Must say that the traffic warden were really hardworking on a Sunday morning.

This was a horrible place to stay. It smelt horrible. The rooms were dull and the configuration of bathroom and shower were extremely odd. The shower being a cupboard with a shower curtain opposite the door off the corridor into the room. We had 3 rooms, all were horrible and very noisy and down at heel. I would advise against staying here. I think Booking.com should not be offering this hotel
