The view on the lake from the room was amazing. Free parking space on side. Because it also is a hostel there are facilities the cook and eat. Housekeeping works on a tidily schedule.

The view outside is really great, can just see the wall of the castle. The staff is very nice and solve my problem when I cannot connect to the WiFi successfully.

Perfect location for a stay in Locarno - at the market square in close proximity to the train station and bus stops (free with ticino ticket). We stayed in the 'easy rooms' which share a bathroom but are adequate for a weeks stay if you want to explore ticino and neighbouring italy - hikes in the mountains (Bosco Gurin), trips to Milano and Como. I have been here multiple times - opt for the breakfast for a bit of morning treat with Swiss Muesli and local charcuterie.
