The room was quite big. Equipment is a little older but still clean and nice. The location is amazing. Coop groceries and train station is right across the street. The town is small, beautiful and calm. The room had also a fridge which was great! Parking is onsite and free.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my dog. I luckily got upgraded room to a larger, direct access to the terrace. It was very spacious, bed mattress was new and comfortable, all the facilities were renovated so the cleanliness was excellent. The surrounding view was exceptionally beautiful, and there were plenty of walking courses. Breakfast was made with local ingredients which is great,small but filling. All the staff were friendly, especially the owner, Celine. She was very professional and friendly. Thank you for her warm hospitality.

The staff are lovely and friendly. Check-in and check-out are super quick and efficient. Rooms are simple but it has everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, an extremely clean room and bathroom (honestly impressed, congrats to the cleaning team), the shower with good pressure and hot water (after arriving from a day walking in the snow and rain it was like heaven!). The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious and the staff again super friendly and accommodating, always placing guests with the best views of the lake. We had a free upgrade of the room to a lake view - lovely view from the balcony. Family-owned business and you can see the attention to detail is perfect 👌🏼 it's the small things that make a great stay. Free car park (what a treat in this country) and a traditional lodge feeling. My favourite hotel of the holiday.

I give this house full marks. We spent four very happy nights here, and the experience of the homestand was much better than that of the hotel. Firstly, the homestand was beautifully decorated, the town was very quiet, and it was only 3 minutes away from the station and coop supermarket. Secondly, the cooking equipment was complete and equipped with a dishwasher. The surprise is that the house has an elevator!

Very comfortable and well cleaned room, larger than many other single rooms I have stayed in. The price was comparably cheap to other hotels, and you get a lot for the money. Perfect place to stay if one wants to visit Oeschinensee since the hotel is next to the train station and cheaper than staying in Kandersteg.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good clean room. Good breakfast. Very convenient for railway station, used this hotel as a base for exploring some Swiss mountain railways. Pleasant village to explore. Supermarket next door.

Everything was very clean and the room was quite spacious. The hotel is also very close to the train station, which was extremely convenient. I had a great stay!
