One of the prettiest cities I've ever seen.
One of the prettiest cities I've ever seen. There are a lot of hills, so even walking around you should be prepared for some effort. There were waterfalls visible from a little side street, the beautiful lake, the gorgeous surroundings - I was only there as a stop over and really wished I had more time there. Bike enthusiast heaven!

Beautiful location, stunning lake and mountains. However, it's frightfully expensive to stay and to eat and in the shoulder season there's not much to do - no funicular or cable cars working. A good base for scenic train experiences. Very good convenience store at the station.

St Moritz didn’t disappoint view wise- they were...
St Moritz didn’t disappoint view wise- they were spectacular. We even got a bit of snow on the mountain on the 2nd night. Due to it being low season almost all businesses were closed and so the atmosphere was as a result quite dull and almost lifeless. Given that there were decent numbers of tourists in town this was somewhat surprising.

St Moritz is located beautifully.
St Moritz is located beautifully. The city centre is small and although world famous a bit overrated to my opinion. The city is being extensively renovated, which does not always benefit the authentic character. The modern block architecture in some places looks more like Eastern Europe than a mountain idyll.

Skiing slopes are fabulous and groomed daily.
Skiing slopes are fabulous and groomed daily. Not a powder hound paradise, at least not when I was there.
The lift systems are terrific.
Once you get the hang of the shuttle bus schedule it is a breeze to get around. Wait times are never more that 10 minutes, tops.
EVRYTHING is expensive at St. Moritz! Lunch, dinner, cocktails etc. are really expensive.
I will go again for the skiing BUT rent a 2 star or 3 star apartment with a fully functional kitchen. You will save a LOT OF MONEY (and you can always splurge on dining out).
St. Moritz Dorf is the "center" of town with all the shops and hotels and high prices. It is dense, hilly and nice to visit but don't stay there. You are better off at St. Moritz Bad. More reasonable accommodations/ restaurants and only 2 minute bus ride away.

Beautiful... it fits the ad that says "top of the world". Cool, clean, not too busy ... and most importantly very friendly people (at least those we met...). One of them got out of his way how we could find our apartment.

The hotel is immaculately clean with a perfect location. Bus stops are right outside of the front door and the shuttle to and from the train station is super helpful.
The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t have done more for me. Julien and Francesco at reception were great with recommendations and Carola helped me plan sightseeing and hiking. It was always lovely to see Luca and Davide in the restaurant at the start and end of every day who even remembered my coffee order every morning!

Even though we stayed at the hotel for only one night, we had a great experience. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay.
We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was very good, with tasty food and friendly staff providing excellent service.
Additionally, the location is very convenient, and the room was clean and well-equipped with everything one might need.

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional. The staff delivered a level of courtesy and warmth that made us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Our room was simply splendid: spacious, immaculate, and with an atmosphere of refined comfort. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to enjoy Switzerland.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with very impressive modern decor.
The room was spacious, very comfortable and well appointed.
The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed a delicious meal in the the Corsave restaurant.
The breakfast was excellent.
There was gpfree transport to the station although we enjoyed the walk round the lake.
