I wanted to sincerely thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We felt very comfortable at your place, and everything was just as we had hoped.
A beautifully equipped villa—very spacious and cosy, with a large kitchen that invites long breakfasts or dinners. The rooms are large and comfortable, offering pure relaxation and rest, with a lovely terrace and a spacious, beautiful bathroom perfect for unwinding.
As a family of five, we had every comfort imaginable. Thank you very much for everything, and we'd love to again.

ChinaWe stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly.

It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited.
It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited. You won't find any typical souvenir shops here (with fridge magnets, key chains, cow bells etc.). Also, every supermarket is closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly.

Sarnen is so beautiful with lush green hillsides, breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps, pretty streams and a peaceful lake. There are lovely walking trails and parks with boating activities and fantastic amenities. We were only able to stay a short while, but enjoyed a delicious dinner at Molini's, which we highly recommend. Everything we needed for our brief visit was within walking distance, or easy walk to the nearby train station.

Sarnen is a lovely little town, with a wide range of shops, two supermarkets and a garage. There are lots of walks in the surrounding area which are well signposted. A small river runs through the centre. The town has a range of restaurants. It was very well situated for our overnight stop on a drive down to Italy.

As other reviews have mentioned, the place is immaculate, full of great quality appliances and essential supplies, including basic groceries! We were picked up from Sarnen Nord station, followed by a short tour to the old town. All necessary info has been provided. Lisa ask checked periodically to make sure everything’s fine.
We will most definitely recommend this place to people we know!

Gorgeous hillside views from this second floor room in a quiet but convient location.
Free parking available under trees at the right side of the hotel.
Nice modern styling to the interiors.
Helpful staff at the Hotel Krone, we were particularly grateful for the late checkout.

The location was beautiful. It was nice to have a couple of days to relax in the spa since travelling Europe. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which allows wasy access to the train station. Staff were lovely and the food was great. Would highly recommend!
