Amazing location and experience. Superb views from balcony. Staff is great and helpful, we needed a bit medical attention, all was organized. Room was small, but sufficient. Spa is great, not large, but we were lucky to have opportunity to sunbath outside - plenty of space - cozy and nice. towels, bathrobes good quality. Good cocktails, not so expensive for Switzerland :) Great stay, walking distance to few bars, we found one store, close to hiking trails and table cars. Super quiet! Love to come back!

A very lovely and cozy hotel with a warm, homely atmosphere. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and easy — we arrived very late, but the hotel staff had everything prepared for us: a parking spot was reserved, the key was left for us, and we were given clear instructions on where to find it. The staff were all very kind and polite. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here, and would happily come back!

We stayed here only for the one night but it was amazing experience. The owner of this hotel is very nice and friendly, the view on the mountains is gorgeous and the diner was so big that I’ve barely finished my dish. The hotel itself looks like it had renovations pretty recently (no mold in the bathroom or any kind of dirt on the walls etc.) Our room was super clean and cozy. Wonderful.

Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps.

Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps. You get their only with the steepest funicular of the world, no cars in the village. During the summer season this village only attracts people for the famous (and very overcrowded by Instagrammers and Tiktokkers) Stoos ridge hike. It is amazing and has great views but you walk in line the whole way unless you are willing to really take the 1st chairlift up there. I am sure there are as nice hikes but less crowded ridge hikes in Switzerland. It was a reminder for us to never take travel tips from social media.

A quaite town in the mountains.

A quaite town in the mountains. Beautiful, laid back with the most amazing ridge hike and gorgeous weather. Easy to walk, lots of hikes and scenery galore. Accomodations perfect and superfresh food and outstanding fresh salad bar.

This is a beautiful, charming village with the friendliest people! Great access to mountain ridge hikes, amazing views of Lake Lucerne from Fronalpstock (just a gondola ride away) and excellent food at Caschu Alp design Hotel.

Heaven on earth!

Heaven on earth! There are so many options of hiking routes and cycling with picturesque angel at every corner of the town. There were Ski Lifts to take further up the mountain and the experience of that is worth considering.

Fantastic location with the best views imaginable.

Fantastic location with the best views imaginable. Staff were warm and friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection and ingredients were excellent. Everywhere was clean and there were plenty of seating area's, especially sun loungers. Spa was very relaxing and not too busy during our May stay, in fact the hotel was surprisingly quiet. Got a free upgrade from room with a view to room with a balcony. Highly recommend a stay here, a real gem of a place. Only possible negative is that as Brits we did missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that is barely worth mentioning as overall the hotel, facilities and views made this a must return location.

We stayed above Stoos at the Gipfelstock hotel (amazing...

We stayed above Stoos at the Gipfelstock hotel (amazing experience up there!), and not directly in Stoos. We did hike down to Stoos and spent time in town, the town is quite sleepy and small and we did not think there was much to do and see directly in town, the restaurant we ate at was overpriced (even for Switzerland) given the quality of the food (sorry forget the name of it, but it is the first one you come across when walking into town from the funicular and is open 365). I imagine it may be more of an exciting town in the winter season and once the new modern hotel is complete. It is a good base for hiking in the area.

Locatie is suberb! Just like your on top of the world :-). Sunrise view from our room is absolutely breathtaking. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast was very tasteful en enough choice for everybody flavor. Walking paths from the hotel to the other tops were really good. Nice views :-) If we some day come back to the Fronalpstock we would come back to this hotel!
