Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a restaurant, Cabañas La Bella Durmiente offers self-catering accommodations with free Wi-Fi in Maipo. Regional breakfast and a pizza bar are... The place has many ammenities so that the whole family has options to enjoy and relax: hot tub, indoor & outdoor pools, massages, pool & football tables, a small library, tv room, a small playground and a very convenient restaurant with inside and outside tables. The owner lives in the property and is always willing to help with a big smile, always accompanied by his friendly dog and cats. The place is almost untouched as they took a lot of care on keeping the original trees and plants so despite having lots of open spaces, is always kinda private as one is always surrounded by nature. We stayed at the hotel rooms, not the cabins and found them beautiful, new and super comfortable. The staff is also super friendly and always willing to provide an extra, for example they brought us breakfast to the room and sang happy birthday to my husband. Last but not least, the place is located at walking distance from the town park and other restaurants so it's location is also very convenient. Definitely loved the experience and will make it our regular weekend destination.

Located in San José de Maipo, Cascada Lodge Cajon del Maipo has a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, and free WiFi. Place is gorgeous per se. Staff was very, very pleasant and helpful. Our guide on the visit of the waterfall, "el mago", was knowledgeable and very nice.
San Alfonso is a pretty place to have a few days relaxation - nice places to eat and walk around - also activities like rafting and horse riding. you can get here easily from Santiago and there’s buses and taxis around to get easily from place to place. We ate at various places and Mi Terruño was the best food and the best value (can be a bit expensive eating out) - it’s on a corner at Camino Al Volcán 30817, San Alfonso. We went to San Jose by bus and organised a rafting trip with Natexplorer - it was a week off high season and Natexplorer run activities all the time even off season - they were excellent and we had a great time - picked is up from our accomodation and dropped us off all inclusive. La casa de chocolate was a highlight - great ice cream and the most amazing thick and delicious hot chocolate with lovely gardens to sit in - a must see
