Felipe and Jane are super hosts. They are very responsive and committed to making their guests comfortable. The entire family of 4 made me feel at home. Amenities are all good. Nature surrounds the hacienda. Privacy was excellent (helped by the fact that I was the only guest at the time - don't count on it). The meals were delicious, high quality, and priced very reasonably.

Loved how much they help with tours and everything you need. The hostel has such a great vibe aswell if you want to just relax and chill. I would recommend staying here to everyone I tell about going to san gil. All the workers are amazing and go above and beyond. They have little free experiences aswell like tejo, Spanish lessons and football. It honestly is the best place we stayed extra nights because we loved it that much. San gil is the nicest place and this hostel accomodate you in every way possible. The owner is amazing aswell. I needed help with medication and he came to help translate everything. Can’t express on how great this place is

Really going to miss this place even though I was only passing through for a night! I was welcomed in and made to feel at home by the staff and the other visitors. Camilo and Eliza were very kind and attentive. A great bunch of people. Guane the dog is really cute. The accomodations were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a really nice touch. Top notch place, will stay once again when I visit Barichara in the future.

A nice pool very helpful staff with all the info I need and a map and lots of cats!!!!!! Also the beds are a really good size almost a double for a hostel.
