The hotel is well designed, the rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are so many little touches to make it feel you’ve arrived to stay with family or friends. Our host Irene is enthusiastic and super helpful. Offering suggestions and help for every travel question (and we had many)!! Breakfast was ample and covered all the bases as to offerings that were fresh and yummy! Our airport transfers went smoothly. Excellent drivers in both directions. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our days here and highly recommend Casa Alegria as a great base to visit the northern end of Santiago.

Everything was perfect in this hotel, from the location to those beautiful rooms with Mountain View. And the staff ? Claudia our ‘coup de coeur ♥️’ the first French speaker we’ve met on our entire trip. Language Skills aside, she’s just the sweetest and got great managerial skills. Her staff and her made the stay really safe and fun ! Thats why we stayed longer than planned Everything is nearby, We visited around without a car.. People in Tarrafal are really kind
