The house was fantastic, plenty of room for our family of six. The kitchen/dining/lounge area was very spacious and relaxing. The kitchen had everthing you could possibly need and more. Showers are super powerful and very hot. All the bedrooms are huge with plenty of room for clothes. We have relatives who live in the area, so will definately book again when we are back in Germany.

Bendorf itself is just like many other smaller cities in the region but does offer some great restaurants like Meat Me at the Kirchplatz, which is a very beautiful church square, and the adjacent village of Sayn has a castle, a palace and a beautiful abbey with gardens to enjoy as well as very fine restaurant Lindenhof. Some Roman trails and remains are there for history buffs and hikers to enjoy. Forested mountains with many trails all around. The ice cream parlor in the center is also a place one must visit as it is delicious. Cheaper than at the Koblenz side of the river, this is a great area to stay, more quiet, safe and easy to travel to anywhere else one might want to go e.g. Koblenz, Cochem, Loreley etc.

The best part of our stay was the hotel room and the staff.

The best part of our stay was the hotel room and the staff. The room was modern, very well appointed and immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Lutz, the manager, made us feel very welcome. He has a great knowledge of the area, in particular the wines and wineries, and made many suggestions for our future stays. The only aspect of our stay that the host could improve, in our view, is the manning of the reception. There was no-one on the reception when we arrived at 19:15 and no-one attended after ringing the desk bell. We had to go and look for someone to assist us. That said, we will most definitely stay at the Romantic Hotel Villa Sayn again.

Very frendly personal. Room and Washroom vas clean and enought big for two persons. Temperature in the room was confortable 22 degres ,NOT to Hot. Breakfast was tasty and also for people that are hungry in the morning enought. Hotel is Pet friendly and the price for Dog 9€ is akceptable,fair price. Location is top for valking,cycling.....
