Great restaurant in the evening with extensive menu. Very good breakfast selection. Really good coffee! Friendly staff. Good value. What more do you want? We'll add the lovely surroundings at the foot of the wooded Kranichsberg hill with plenty of walks nearby in the woods, hills and lakes adjoining the hotel. Then a minutes walk across the bridge is charming Wöltersdorf, with cafes and the unmissable historic tram connecting you to the outside world, the S Bahn station at Rahnsdorf (into central Berlin) 15 minutes tram journey away..another great tram a 20 minute bus journey away at Rüdersdorf. I liked this hotel so much I've immediately booked to return in the summer, this time for longer and with my wife (so sadly a lot fewer tram journeys..) Seriously Hotel Kranichsberg is a great choice!

The big house was lovely and we always felt welcome there despite staying in another building. The best thing was the staff, so helpful, friendly and accommodating. There was so much lovely nature nearby. We had an excellent time!
