Great historical hotel right on the Mosel River. The hotel is clean and comfortable, it has a long time history. The breakfast view is breathtaking, seems like you sit right on a river bench. All around is associated with famous German Riesling wine, all around are vineyards and small towns with rich wine culture. Cochem town is very near to the hotel, it is a great place to visit the 12th-century castle and take a tour inside. everywhere around you will find a good bottle of local wine.

This is a beautiful property with grape arbors in the courtyard and lovely balconies. Parking just outside the hotel is easy in the low season. The bathroom was a nice size, and the included breakfast buffet had plentiful choices. There is a walk along the Rhine of about a kilometer into the main town of Cochem.

Everything. Lovely and helpful hosts. Beautiful garden with a cold, which was perfect for the hot summer days we were there. Room was very cool even without AC which was nice for the heat. Location was quiet and beautiful. Would definitely recommend for a trip to the moselle if you want to stay somewhere quiet.
