The view from the room balcony was excellent. The balcony was large for multiple people.

Clean rooms, extensive breakfast, super nice staff. Perfect base for visiting Kehlsteinhaus / Eagle's nest and Königsee.

Those who rely on public transport this hotel is the best .

The location is very nice. Free parking. The breakfast is very good. Room is very clean and comfortable. The view is very nice as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel! Great views from the balcony, nice area to have a drink after getting in rather late. It was very nice to have that option, as it's not within walking distance for anywhere else to have a drink. The girls who work there are extremely welcoming and friendly, and spoke good English which was great. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing, coffee good.

We, a family of five, came to this place after visiting Budapest, Vienna and Salzburg over Christmas and new years holidays. We had a perfect stay at the hotel and in the nature in the Königssee area to finish our holidays. The building and the property are very idyllic. We had a spacious family suite with beautiful views to the mountains. The breakfast was very good, as well as the dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We also liked the pool and sauna area, especially after a cold day out. The indoor kids play area was also great and we also played some ping pong there in the evening and loved how fairytale-like the area around the hotel was covered in snow. The property has a great location, too. The area of Königssee and Berchtesgaden is beautiful and offers many activities which we could easily reach with the car because of the great location. First we thought we would stay one night only but we stayed the whole weekend in the end and would love to come back again.

Nice stay. From our room can see mountains. We took a bus to lake Konigsee. Breakfast was awesome. Pls check which bus to take to the hotel if you are carrying luggages. We took a bus from Salzburg , got down and walked 20mins to reach the hotel instead of taking another bus. My advice is -take a bus instead of walking up with luggages.

The hotel is in a lovely location about a 10 minute walk from the town, the veiws from our room were amazing. Our room was first class, spotlessly clean and twice the size of a normal hotel room, the steam room shower and jacuzzi bath were a big bonus. The owner was friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in reccomending this hotel to anyone staying in Berchtesgaden.
