This modern, 3-star hotel in Köthen offers a restaurant and free parking by the property. The privately run Hotel Anhalt has quiet rooms with mini-bars and private bathrooms. There was a small choice of food in breakfast, but it tasted good. Receptionist was nice.
Centrally located in Köthen, Pension Lehmann offers country style rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Free WiFi access is available at this family-run guest house. Comfortable, welcome place for such small city! I didn't wait anything special but the most important moment is staff of this pension (as always), they were really really nice! It's quite easy to agree on check-in/out time. It's a big plus. Rooms are clean and tidy, bathrom as well. Location is perfect as well (if you like to go for a walk, it will take you about 10 min to get to the center). If i have a plan to visit this city again i'll choose this pension again! I'm 100% sure.
The guest house is located in Köthen, 0.9 mi from the train station. Each of the rooms at the guest house comes equipped with a cable TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Nice apartment with a brand new bathroom. Spacious kitchen to eat in. Kind and helpful host.
Located in Köthen in the Saxony-Anhalt region and Köthener Badewelt baths reachable within 656 feet, Pension und Ferienwohnungen am Ratswall features accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a... The apartments are located away from the town’s center near local swimming pool. However, if you come to see the places connected with Bach, the center is about ten minutes away. The apartments are fairly large, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen quite basic, just large enough to prepare breakfast. If you are more hungry, there is a Greek restaurant next door. The area is very green and quite, good place to get some rest.
A beautiful small town with many inhabitants but very quiet. Rarely see anyone on the first day probably due to weekend. St Jacob Church is really grand and beautiful but the castle is really disappointing. Eating (lunch/dinner only) at Brauhaus on Holzmarkt is a must as they serve delicious food and beer and a lot of Köthener visit it on Sunday. Getting around Köthen is really easy as it is a small town so you won't be lost, especially in the main streets, but you will have to walk as there are no city bus.
It's little, but cosy. Has interesting history: more than 300 year old graves ans former soviet airdrome which is partly ruined and is slowly becoming a beautiful region. Classical music festival is interesting too. And a great collection of native German alcohol and beer in GetraenkeQuelle on Leipziger str. 36h.
