Our host was incredibly accommodating and obviously takes great pride in caring for her guests. She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! Everything about Villa Cuchema is outstanding. The location is perfect. It is close to the river, just a short walk to the train station and old town area. the rooms and building are great. The hotel is a beautiful older building and Peter has done a nice job updating the property. Very clean and modern. the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Breakfast was very good! Peter is the best host. He is very personable and always willing to offer recommendations. he had great restaurant suggestions and also lined up a wine tasting for us in a nearby town. We have been to Europe 3 times and stayed at multiple places on each trip. Peter and Villa Cuchema was outstanding and stands above any other place we have stayed. A very memorable trip.

Breakfast was abundant in options and with selected products. The size of the room and the bathroom was really good. Very confortable. The wine cellar was a must! Perfect to relax in the end of the day. Sabine is very friendly, always available, and did everything to ensure we had an excellent stay. Highly recommend it.
