The place was a nice, clean, big size, comfortable bed. The owner was super helpful. Great communication. The surroundings were also pretty lovely with the lake and trees. A short walk to town, and a quick drive to the train station where you can leave your car and take a 20min train to Cologne.

Great authentic German hotel. Had a great ambience and was very convenient to where we needed to be. Very clean throughout, and the rooms were great. Lovely breakfast.

It’s an older hotel, but everything worked and was clean. Good option for a one-nighter.

The location is exceptionally beautiful. The breakfast was excellent and was served by the very friendly and helpful waitress Ola. In the restaurant, with Greek cuisine, you can enjoy very good specialties prepared by a Greek chef and served by top-notch waitstaff.

Zons is a wonderful hidden gem, a medieval walled town which appears unchanged from when I first visited 47 years ago. Schloss Destille was a very comfortable place to stay with really friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommend it to any other visitors.
