What a lovely hotel! The staff were great, as was the food. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, they had everything you could wish for, including a little machine that makes pancakes? The location was also great, very pretty and quiet and you could walk straight into the woods. There’s a nice castle within a 30 minute walk. Rooms were very large with a little seat, coffee machine and fridge. It was clean and comfortable enough. Only issue we had was that the trash can in the bathroom hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests, which we didn’t love, but everything else was clean! All in all a really good stay, great value for money and we would come again

We were very satisfied with everything at the Waldeck.

The location is beautiful, with a great view of the river. Easy to reach by train. The room was clean and had a wardrobe. It was very quiet at night. There are cafés nearby. A bus stop to the castle is not far away. Good Wi-Fi connection (you just need to ask for the password at the reception).

Clean room, excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly owner. Great location for visiting Eltz Castle. I'm a light sleeper but we never heard the train from our room

Exceptional staff, room size and breakfast!

Clean, good breakfast and dinner. Great saunas and sweet family. The views from our hotel room were like a fairy tale. We want to day thanks to the grandma at the Service for helping us out. She was very sweet and we won’t forget her.
