Everything was what I had hoped it would be.

Booked this last minute as we were looking to overnight on a long drive and not sure how far we would get. Self check in was super easy. The two apartments we rented were spacious, there was a very well equipped kitchenette with a big fridge and freezer which was much appreciated as we had some supplies in an ice box and were able to keep them cool and refreeze the cooling elements overnight. Beds were quite comfortable, choice of pillows is a nice plus and bathroom roomy and new. The pizza place at the gas station across the road was surprisingly good and very friendly and the bakery the next morning as well. Perfect place to overnight, can’t say anything about staff as we didn’t see any. Also can’t say anything about Amtzell itself as we went straight back onto the motorway the next morning.

Nice place, new, clean, very nice staff.

Lovely hotel. Very nice staff.

Breakfast offered a full and varied selection of hot and cold items, served in several attractive dining areas. The room offered a spacious and clean accommodation, providing also a comfortable sitting area and luggage storage area. Allowed us to be out of the Lindau city area, in quiet more rural setting, yet the city tax paid results in a public transit pass for unlimited and easy bus or train shuttle to Lindau. plenty of parking available.

The breakfast was a delightful surprise of variety and a lovely presentation.

I liked the staff. All family members. Hotel is run by the forth generation of owners. Any guest will feel welcome immediately and at the checkout the wish takes shape that one day you will come back again, hopefully.

The hotel is next to a golf course so the view is amazing. The room was very nice, the breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly.

Excellent location in the heart of town. The owners were incredibly kind and made me feel like I was at home. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I have the chance!

Quiet location and excellent breakfast

A very nice stay, with a friendly staff. As I was there for a concert in the Castle Gardens, it was more than convenient with a couple of minutes walk.

The Hotel and Staff were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast had so many options to chose from every morning. The location is perfect to visit other places around, close to freeway and city streets. Our stay at the Hotel Ritter is a wonderful memory!!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Wonderful no-thrills & old school country inn - great to see those still exist. Wonderful management, great room, great location, great breakfast. Exceptional value for money as well!
