The studio apartment was well set out and could sleep 4 at a pinch (but would be a bit cozy). There is a sleeping area on a mezzanine floor, with kitchenette, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor. It is decorated in a modern Scandinavian style with the quirky addition of bedside tables supported by gnomes (!). It's situated in a country area and is on the same site as an equestrian facility (mainly polo and dressage as far as I could see). It's handy for Potsdam and it's art treasures (20 minutes drive) but a bit light on local restaurants (which seem to be mainly Italian - check out la Riva in Werder, a short drive away)

Check-in window is tight, luckily we managed to book stay for the same evening just before closing (8pm) Lady was helpful and nice on the phone, sadly we didn't meet anyone at the reception, but team at the bar during breakfast was exceptionally welcoming and nice! Breakfast was 30€ per couple and worth the price Hotel has enough parking space, it's close to the highway to continue the trip

We travelled all the way from London in search of peace and tranquility and this place has it all. We have enjoyed our stay in the lovely apartment and an extensive beautiful garden. We even had a visit from a deer one morning.
