Large, comfortable room. Nice view over the valley towards a castle (although the Rhine itself is not visible). Attentive hosts. Garage for charging electric bicycles. The restaurant is first-class. The Goswin Lambrich 2019 Cuveé Gowin Trocken red wine was delicious.

We were traveling with our dog and when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. They had prepared the room with a mattress for our dog, some pet food and two bowls. What a delicacy. The room is classically decorated, comfortable and has all the items we need. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is hearty, tasty and if I may make a suggestion, the homemade yorgurt is wonderful. The city is a typical German town, with typical architecture, a cathedral in the center and the hotel on the banks of the Rhine.

Great place for an overnight stay on the way south from the Channel ferry ports. The accommodation was lovely, good value for money and very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The evening meal wasn't cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for. Beautifully prepared and served.

Fantastic family-run hotel. The interior is in 1920s style, all furnished with renovated vintage furniture. Entering the hotel is like in Midnight In Paris, except it's still there when you wake up in the morning. The breakfast is amazing, everything is fresh, organic and healthy. If you are vegan or vegetarian, let the staff know beforehand and they will make sure you have alternatives. We forgot to do so, but they still managed to provide a great breakfast with fresh fruit and home-baked bread. The hotel was renovated just a few years ago, but some of the other guests were already regulars that return each year, always a good sign. Staff is charming, friendly and helpful. Having a drink in the plush vintage chairs of the lounge is a lovely way to end each evening. Parking on the street right outside, but if it's all full the hotel have a few spots behind the building. Recommended for exploring the "Romantischen Rhein". We will be sure to return.
