Very nice vintage design, the lady in the reception-Margeet was very kind and helpful, she considered all our needs and took care. Susanne, the owner was also very nice. Good parking and breakfast, nice area to walk.

Superb room (although we were upgraded) with everything (except an electric kettle - as per usual in Scandinavia) including a very comfortable bed and separate WC and roomy bathroom. The restaurant which had wonderful views served an excellent meal and all the staff were great.

Nice friendly community, convenient to points of interest in Jutland peninsula but only a short drive away from main Skagen tourism sites. Very good selection of restaurants -- including less expensive ones with location character -- and bakeries for sweet delights. We found this area very convenient as a base for day trips north & south, while avoiding the busier areas of high tourism.

A nice, quiet little town with a pedestrian street at the center. Surprising number of good restaurants. The harbour offers ferry connections to number of places (Gothenburg and others). They even have a beach with palm trees! Good location to make trips to rest of the Northern Jylland.

It seemed like a ghost city with no people.

It seemed like a ghost city with no people. But Skagen was near it is beautiful. The restaurants and coffe shops open really late, can not drink a good coffe in the morning. And we did not find a good one. :-( The supermarkets are totally different like in other cities, the supply is really poor.

We passed by and stayed for one night, and it was quite enough. We also visited a local swimming pool and local fish restaurant, both were good. We did not visit any museums, perhaps another time. It is nice to stay in this city to rest and recharge to continue your trip. Except on Sunday, when nothing seems to be open, it is so strange, but do not come there on Sunday, it would be a huge disappoint.
