We stayed 4 nights at Takuma and we really loved it! Beautiful construction, thoughtful decor and garden, awesome pool, quiet and relaxing ambiance... The perfect vacation package! The breakfast was great, the owners and entire staff was nice and welcoming, special kudos to the cleaning staff as they did a great job keeping our room pristine even though there were 4 of us! The location is close to all the restaurants, stores and the beach, which we enjoyed a lot. Bravo 👏

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel El Mambo in Las Terrenas for an extended weekend. The hotel impresses with its minimalist-modern decor, infused with a charming Moroccan touch, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The staff deserves special praise for being incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return!

The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always happy to share local knowledge and assist us with anything we needed. The location was perfect, and our beautiful room featured a balcony overlooking the pool with stunning ocean views. We had an amazing time here — even though the room was cool and comfortable with excellent air conditioning, we found ourselves spending most of our time on the balcony daybed. It was pure bliss to relax, listening to the wildlife, with the gentle sounds of insects and birds as we drifted off in the mosquito-enclosed outdoor bed.
