It’s not big city, relies mainly on summer season otherwise nothing to do.
Beaches, water activities and that’s it.
Not a lot of food options but good ones are close by in driving distance.
Galala aqua park is okey, don’t have too high expectations on it though.

.The accommodation is not clean, and there are cockroaches in the bathroom. The kitchen is dirty, and the kitchen utensils are very filthy. There are loud noises, making it impossible to sleep well. The walls are old and unpainted. There is no door handle in the bedroom. The room does not contain towels, soap, or cleaning materials. There is no privacy, and the sounds of people outside the room are annoying. I could not sleep well.
The customer service office is very far from the accommodation, the treatment is bad, and the waiting time can be as long as 3 hours to get accommodation. I do not recommend repeating the experience. Due to poor planning, my customer service agent booked me one night in one room and two nights in another room. This was the worst experience I've had with booking

Sokhna seems like the perfect family destination for modest...
Sokhna seems like the perfect family destination for modest and religious-oriented families. It is child friendly and the beaches are clean. They are also super sandy and do not have shells on them so you do not need to come along with beach shoes. This was the case for the beaches in the Tolip compound, and I am not sure if this is the case throughout.
Prices are good and reasonable and the variety is great too. The staff and nice and polite and are generally very helpful.

I stayed at Stella Di Mare Grand hotel.
I stayed at Stella Di Mare Grand hotel. Nice little resort and good hotel. But my best experience in Ain Sokhna was William at “Williams Bazaar”. Amazing guy, helped me out a lot, helped me get a ride back to Cairo for a very good price, overall very good prices in his store. I would go to Egypt again just to meet him. If you ever are in the area, give him a visit!

It is a lovely site. A little basic in the restaurants but the beach and pools are fantastic. Rooms are a good size. In terms of value for money Palmera is unbeatable and a very relaxing weekend destination.

Ain sokhna is a 60 minute drive from Cairo on a very well-appointed highway. Its the best option for day trips. There is not any nightlife to speak of, but as a family-centric chill vacation, it cant be beat.
Super friendly staff. From the front desk through the pool bartenders and housekeeping crew, every employee of this hotel was kind and very attentive to my needs. Special thanks to Mr. Abraham from the front desk!
The quality of meals exceeded my expectation(which was quite low after reading all the negative feedbacks about food written by other clients here). Does it meet the global five star standards? It most likely doesn’t. Is their food yet competitive with those of other five starred hotels in EGYPT? The answer should be a yes.
The location was perfect for my needs . the animation team changed our mood. Thanks to Salma, she supported my kid to have a lot of fun and sports activities.
Food was good if they added lunch option would be great .
