Bargain for a souvenir in old town El Dahar with its more traditional bazaars, and the city centre of Sekalla has many top class hotels. Marine Boulevard is lined with restaurants and designer stores.
The popularity of outranking the Giza Pyramids, Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel has impacted some of those precious coral reefs along the Red Sea Riviera coast. However, there are still great diving spots to be found. Try the nearby coast around the tourist resort town of El Gouna or the uninhabited Giftun Island is ideal for snorkelling with its coral gardens. The eastern portion of the Sahara Desert with its Red Sea Mountains and nomadic Bedouin tribes can be explored from Hurghada on camels.

The ones in Senzo mall so expensive and food quality is substandard.
I didn't like that almost all restaurants even the expensive ones in Senzo mall playing none stop Quran instead of relaxing music.

it's a nice city, with more touristic infrastructure than others cities in Egypt. More people were able to speak English and the traffic was less chaotic as well the taxi drivers and there was less people trying to sell things/products or scams you. The Red Sea is an experience a part, it's so beautiful and worth to see. Over there the summer was perfect fitted. It was completely different than other coast cities that I visited, all the beaches were private and they don't have a large sand area. The day trips over there are very worth, my favorites were giftun island and diving. Quad or camel at the desert was not really worth as there were no dunes, it's very plane different than Saara for exemple. About were to buy the day trips as we learned in Egypt is better to compare prices from the places and when you are interest to do more than one day trip you can ask for discounts. If you are staying one week or more I recommend to pick a hotel with a private beach inside otherwise you will need to go to a private beach everyday and pay extra for it, the prices starts around 100/150 EGP per person.

Hurghada comes alive at night.
Hurghada comes alive at night. I arrived in the morning, thought strange, it just looks dry and dusty and not much people around. Its super hot during the day, but as soon as sunset hits, the street lights come on and it feels alive, and everyone comes out. Temperature is cooler and there is lots more chatter about, restaurants are buzzing with business!
We went to the fish market, where you choose your seafood and they will cook it for you. Speaking Arabic is ideal but i think you could get by with English. This was a great spot. Initially we were going to the restaurant which is opposite the fish market, but the taxi driver told us about the fish market. Loved it!
My favourite dessert place is World Sweets, the best kunefe in the world I reckon, loved it! Visited it 3 times while staying here for 1 week.

the water is blue and clear, not very crowded and the hotels are luxury, but the actual city is VERY run down, but you can pass through to get to the beaches or stay in your resort which is much better
Me and my wife are newly weds and decided to spend a week in this hotel and I couldn’t have been happier with the customer service and support that we had there’s not one issue or problem that we had that’s wasn’t solved right away. Special thanks to Mr Omar Sami for making this experience 10 times better than it could’ve have been and we will 100% go back to this hotel I highly recommend this hotel for anyone thinking to visit Hurghada ❤️
We had a fantastic week at the Hilton Hurghada.
The hotel is pretty new, and very nice. We had all inclusive. The restaurants included was really nice.
The room was beautiful, big, we also had a terrace with sea views. The beds were really comfortable.
We were on a diving vacation, and was out diving every day.
We spent our last day at the hotel beach. The parasol had USB sticks and saftey box. Really cool feature.
The four-day experience of Bel Air Hotel is extremely wonderful! Miss Schery at the front desk is very cute. She is very considerate, conscientious, and has a super good personality! I love her so much! This hotel is for adults only, so everyone has a good time. There are different activities every day. It won't be boring. I fell in love with it! I have a wonderful memory of Hurghada!
Awesome week in Hurghada. Spent all the nights in Charbel Hotel. Nice location, bigger room than expected, wifi, pool on the roof, everything was good. Really nice to met Tadros at the reception, always smiling, caring, making sure everything is ok for us. Hope to see you again!
