Nice place to stay for a couple days. Staff was super friendly and the room and grounds were quite nice. They have a self check in kiosk which made it convenient to access your room. Close to town.

The albergue is right on the Camino so very convenient for pilgrims. There are two large rooms with 18 bunks in each one. Each bunk has sheets, pillow, pillow with case, cover/blanket, a towel and a locker. The facility is clean, modern and has a lovely sitting area. There is a well equipped kitchen, as well as breakfast for a small fee. Although the lady who checked us in didn't speak much English, we were able to communicate using Google Translate and lots of hand gestures. All of this was done with a good sense of humour and lots of smiles.

Pensión María Castaña provides air-conditioned rooms in Puebla del Brollón. During your time at this recently renovated guest house, dating back to 2024, you'll have access to free Wifi.

Beautiful room with lots of extra touches - local cookies, coffee machine, nice bathroom products. Although check-in was done remotely, it was easy and efficient and the host was very responsive and helpful. It is located close to the center of town but at the end of a quiet street. On our Camino walk it was perfect! Highly recommend.

The family has just re-opened the pensión after several years. They also manage the albergue up the road. It is spotless and comfortable, perfect for pilgrims who want their own space. Despite what the booking listing says, it is NOT 2 km from town. It is very close, in fact, closer to town, then the Albergue. But on the same road.

The host was exceptional. We had a car problem while there and he made sure a mechanic was there to help. The location was quite good, short walk to downtown. Garage space was provided. The apartment was immaculate. It had evertong one needs.
