The rooms were very clean, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Close to lots of hiking paths and has an amazing restaurant that we ended up eating at almost every night as the quality was spectacular and the price very reasonable.

Lovely balcony. Delicious and abundant breakfast with croissants, toast, charcuterie, tomatoes, and made-to-order eggs and hot beverages! We slept well with the light-blocking blinds and doors, and the two separate bedrooms rooms were very appreciated by our family of 5.

Javier and Maria are wonderful hosts! Very kind and welcoming. Easy walk down to the village for dinner. Breakfast served on site. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful.

Overall a pretty good stay. I wouldn't quite rate it a 3 star hotel, it felt dated to us. But the beds were comfortable, it was fairly clean and breakfast was a nice addition. It did feel alittle over priced for what it was though. However we did appreciate the location.

Family run, excellent service

El Pilar is conveniently located on main route to mountain hiking trails, but also central to shops and restaurants. Parking is available across the street. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The bar and restaurant do a lively local business. Breakfast is remarkably varied, daily selection of fresh fruit, cooked eggs and bacon, cold meats and cheeses and breads and cereals and yogurt.

The breakfast was great. The location was very nice. Owner and family are very nice and work hard to give the guests a good stay. Location is in an interesting position. Hotel Areulo is located at the edge of the village of Cerler. You have to take the first left turn when traveling from Benasque a few hundred meters before entering Cerler. It's easy to miss when you pass it and the road is not marked in alot of navigation apps. From the parking lot there is a beautiful view of the Benasque valley. Cerler is a great place from which to start various hiking trails. Not far from the Maladeta massif and the Aneto.

The location is perfect, close to everything. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is extremely clean.
