Everything was exactly what I had hoped for! The balcony was a pretty spot to hang out with the moon overhead and the mountains in the background. The kitchen was fully furnished and very convenient. There are 1.5 bathrooms, which is nice with four people staying. I was worried about the parking since it was in an old part of town, and the owner could make no guarantees, so I was delighted to find that this was really no problem at all! It is located on a quiet plaza, just along the edge of the old town, with easy access to the main highway. It is a short walk to the main attractions: the castle, bridge, and shopping district, through quaint, old, narrow streets.

From the moment we stepped in, the vibe of this apartment captivated us. It's not just a place to stay but an experience in itself. The hosts, a delightful Welsh couple, add an authentic charm to the place, making it feel like a home away from home. Their warm hospitality is a highlight, making friends with us. What truly stood out for us was the generous offer of a free guided tour. Not only did we get a scenic view of the surroundings, but the hosts also took the time to introduce us to local specialties and even escorted us to the nearest supermarkets. Their personal touch added so much value to our stay. We were incredibly fortunate to be there during a local festival, which took place right next door to the apartment. It gave us a unique insight into the local culture and festivities, making our stay even more memorable. In terms of practicalities, the location is perfect, offering both tranquility and accessibility. The comfort level exceeded our expectations, and every facility was in pristine condition. We absolutely loved our stay here! Located on a peach and nectarine farm, this is a Spanish equivalent to the Italian agroturismo. We stayed here in January and had the place to ourselves. There is an open rooftop terrace and eating/lounge area on the top floor with an honesty bar. We got a pizza in the nearby town (the town also had great grocery stores) and ate it while watching the sunset- perfect! The owner's niece spoke wonderful English and told us all about the property. We walked to the river after our delicious breakfast (a gorgeous spread of meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, coffee, bread with homemade jams, yogurt, and muesli). Our room was very comfortable and the shower was great.

I discovered the city with its castle, monumental church,...

I discovered the city with its castle, monumental church, riverside location, and surrounding area, just half an hour from some lovely beaches and boasting a beautiful agricultural landscape with mild temperatures year-round. It reminded me of the Candeleda area in Ávila, which also enjoys a microclimate.

We stayed here for five days. It was well worth it.

We stayed here for five days. It was well worth it. The hotel staff provided us with excellent tips for excursions. The service was very friendly. Mora d'Ebre isn't overrun with tourists, which makes the town and its surroundings attractive and worth seeing.

The magical village beside the Ebro River. Many excursions to take in the surrounding area. The railway museum in Mora la Nova. The Civil War museum in Gandesa. The old town of Corbera. The wine cathedral in Pinell de Brai and the fantasy village of Miravet.

For history enthusiasts, the area and its surroundings (Corbera d'Ebre and Gandesa) preserve the memory of the Battle of the Ebro during the Spanish Civil War. It is also a wine-growing region (Terra Alta): opportunities to contact winemakers and visit their cellars.

Mora d'Ebre and its surroundings are very beautiful, with lush vegetation and, above all, the Ebro River, which gives it a special touch. There are many things to do and see, from river activities to hiking, etc. It's all very green; it's a shame about the widespread water shortage we're experiencing, otherwise it would be spectacular.

Small but comfortable apartment, very centrally located, good facilities with mostly everything you need for a short visit. As a solo traveller, it suited me much better than a hotel, well equipped kitchen, apart from not having a tea towel! Good value for money!
