Petra & Patrick are fantastic hosts and give the hotel a very welcoming and homely atmosphere. There is a lot of attention to detail and it is simply an oasis in the middle of the Muntanya mountain range on the otherwise buzzing Mallorca. Don’t miss out having lunch or dinner at the restaurant, the food is excellent and service is great. We will be back!

The location is perfect - right next to the sea, offering stunning views and easy access to beautiful walking paths in the area. The service was exceptional, with friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, offering welcome drinks and sandwiches. Breakfast was great, with a variety of options. The spa facilities, including the sauna, added a nice touch of relaxation, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor heated pool. The infinity pool was beautiful, though unheated.

The most beautiful hotel located right in the centre of Soller! We absolutely loved our stay here, the hotel itself is extremely clean and has gorgeous interior. We booked the superior room with garden view, it had a huge comfortable bed and very spacious room perfect for a couple. The pool area has sun all day, very peaceful surrounded by mountain views and the famous tram passing through was a lovely touch. Breakfast and staff were great too - can’t fault this place!

We didn't venture in to the village - only drove through it...

We didn't venture in to the village - only drove through it - you will need a car and your wits as you navigate a fair few hairpin bends, cyclists and hikers. The hotel location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

The Orient valley is stunningly beautiful and, at the time...

The Orient valley is stunningly beautiful and, at the time of our visit in late March, a bright lush green. It was so tranquil with very few people around except for Sunday. Low numbers of cars passing through but loads of cyclists so lots of patience and slow driving needed. Very remote - 20 mins to Alaro, more to Bunyola, hairpin bends in both directions and steep gradients on the Bunyola road. We went there for walking and found the walk from Orient to the Castell d’Alaro very enjoyable and rewarding with stunning views of both the mountains and towards Palma. However, we found the number and choice of other walks quite restrictive for moderate walks of 4-5 hours or so and Spain doesn’t have the footpaths accessibility of the UK. Walking times on footpath signs were always considerably less than our actual times (we are a moderately fit couple in our early sixties).

L'Hermitage, a beautiful building, within 2km. of pretty Orient village. If hiking/walking there is no need for a car. A bicycle would be useful (especially an eBike), which can be rented in Alora. The narrow roads are very busy with "real" cyclists. You are c. 45 minutes by car/taxi from Palma airport.

The road from Alaro to Orient is very steep and winding.

The road from Alaro to Orient is very steep and winding. It is important to take great care especially as it is a popular route for cyclists. The route from Bunyola to Orient is even narrower and winding. Not to be considered for night driving. Nearest beach is about 50 mins away.

Wonderfully relaxing 👍🏼 Everything was just right. The staff was excellent and the food was highly recommended. The temperature in the indoor pool could have been a bit warmer, and the corners in that area could have been a little cleaner. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Perched high in the hills, 35 minutes from Palma and roughly 30 minutes from the west coast, we appreciated the peace and quiet of the place. In Orient itself, there's a very nice restaurant with local specialties, C'an Tomeu, with very friendly staff. (Note: they don't accept credit cards, so bring cash...)

Beautiful place definitely worth paying a visit and staying for rest in a calm location. We loved the surrounding area and the peaceful town of Orient. The hotel is very nice and the staff is absolutely phenomenal and friendly. You get a very family and welcoming feel. The hotel restaurant has a select menu of delicious food, definitely worth trying. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great garden and pool for families with kids!

The setting of the hotel is stunning. It's in the mountains and it's beautiful. The pool area was lovely and quiet and relaxing which is just what we wanted. The room and bathroom were both nice. Breakfast was also nice - although a lot of the food was just left out for the flies to enjoy. Main guy on reception was very pleasant to deal with.

A beautiful family run hotel. Petra and Patrick are lovely and very attentive to your every need. ❤️ And the restaurant turned out to be a real treat with gorgeous food and wines. The draft beer on the sunny terrace after a hard day's cycling was a lifesaver.

We have been here quite a few times and love it. The staff are excellent and really look after you. It’s nice to see the same staff every time we visit which must mean they love working at the hotel. The food is excellent with big portions.
