We loved everything about about our stay here at A Carballeira do Tambre. We love immersing ourselves and getting a feel for life with the local community. This is not in a big touristy area. It is perfect for relaxation and rest and peace. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was more than wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the back patio tub. Every morning breakfast was delicious and so welcoming. We often took a walk on the local roads in the afternoons. Dinner at the restaurant in the evenings was fresh and delicious and the portions were very large. We spent some time hanging out on the lobby area which was very nice and enjoyed listening to and watching the little water fountain. Mostly the hosts were so helpful land friendly. We really really enjoyed our stay here and were sorry to not have stayed a day or two longer! This is the perfect place to unwind.

The room itself was basic but comfortable and what i liked the most is the common area where you get the chance to meet with other pilgrims on the camino. Since there was a common space for each floor, it did not get too crowded either. It was the perfect space to recover from the walk and felt like a home.
