Vinaros is a typical old spanish town of narrow streets and private shops. It does have very good underground parking facilities though. The promenade, (passeo maritimo) is one of the best we have ever seen, anywhere in Spain! Lined with some excellent restaurants. Backing equally fabulous beaches. Vinaros is just a perfect little town for a beach stay.
Vinaros is just a perfect little town for a beach stay. It has a beautiful, wide seaside promenade with lots of arty structures and sculptural seating, which people take full advantage of. There are a million cafes - our favourite was Mozart, which has great coffee, fresh orange juice and snacky things like crepes, tostadas and croissants. The shopping is good, including clothes and health stores. It's quite an alternative place and subtly LGBTQ friendly, which we liked. It has quite a sporty vibe with gyms, Pilates and yoga available, also ballroom dancing we noticed. If you're looking for a friendly seaside place to visit or live in, I'd highly recommend it! And it has the best and most knowledgeable vet hospital in the wider area - San Francisco in the street of the same name. They are very caring.

We were only in Vinaros to take our cat to the emergency vet...
We were only in Vinaros to take our cat to the emergency vet hospital and to visit him daily. Our first impression was of rather dingy, dirty streets of a bit of a rundown town. But, once we found the seaside promenade with a wide expanse to walk and cycle, we got a much better impression of the place! There were a myriad of good and friendly cafes, interesting, arty, street sculptures and the ever-present sound of the waves breaking. The promenade was long and the vibe sporty. Fernando is one of the most welcoming hosts I've encountered in Spain. He goes over and beyond what is expected. The rooms are spotless clean and sufficient for your stay in Vinaros. Parking is a huge plus, if you are traveling by car make sure to inform the property, the access is of great ease. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
