We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Mariposa! The house is incredibly cozy and feels like a true home away from home. You can really feel how much love and care has been put into every detail — there are so many lovely little touches in the decor that make the place feel warm, welcoming, and special. The house was exceptionally clean and had absolutely everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes and all the necessary appliances. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. The hosts were extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The surrounding area is peaceful, quiet, and beautifully maintained. There are several play areas for children, a sandy beach, a grill area, and a sauna — everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. The location is also very convenient for exploring the area, with easy trips to Tykkimäki, Verla, and Repovesi. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to come back again. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for a beautiful, exceptionally clean, and wonderfully cozy place to stay!

The location of the house is excellent, and the lake view is amazing. The terrace is huge. The house is very cozy, clean, and has absolutely everything you need in an apartment. The sauna is also wonderful, spacious, and located just a few meters from the lake. There are 2 rowing boats available. Thank you so much!

The attention to detail in decor, the cleanliness of all the facilities (multiple showered and sauna areas), and the excellent dinner and breakfast foods!

Sommelo opened its doors first time in 1981. Exotic hotel with original interior design, which brings you back to Finland of the 1980's. Big hotel room, excellent facilities, superb breakfast buffet. When I arrived hotel there was a special afternoon dance happening for senior people dancing "humppa". Seeing all this happening gave me even more of that special 1980's taste and feeling that you travel back to the eighties and experience the times, when Urho Kaleva Kekkonen was the president of Finland.
