Excellent value for money. Gentle and kind staff; they even sent us a message to alert us that there were northern lights outside the cabin 💚 Very cozy atmosphere, spacious rooms, properly equipped to cook. Sauna in the cabin is a plus; it takes some learning to operate it but it’s very satisfactory when you manage it! We bought the firewood from them and they made our first fire for us. Would recommend!

Lovely country house with a stunning landscape. The house was very clean. Waking up to views of the frozen lake and snow was magical. There was a shed with equipment for snowshoeing, ice fishing, and sledging. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the sauna was fantastic. Even though it was –21°C outside, the house was warm and cozy.

We had an amazing stay in the Sunday Morning Resort, which was clearly one of the most charming hotels we stayed in. The building is made out of wood everywhere which makes it lovely and authentic, and the place is perfectly located between the trees and facing the lake. The room and commun areas are very comfortable and the free access to the spa and the gym is a real plus. The breakfast was perfect and they made it vegetarian and vegan for us. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and same here, amazing food. Thank you to the staff - great experience !

Great property, nothing too fancy but comfortable clean and a varied breakfast available should you require. Onsite restaurant and mini-market selling Snacks, Drinks and essentials. Few restaurants close by and more down the hill where there is a sports bar and a larger supermarket. Close to the ski slopes. Accessible by Bus from RVN and details are found on Maktahuolto app or website. Hotel staff friendly and informative. Would recommend for a Ski trip or if you just simply want to enjoy the serenity of the nature of Lapland

Absolutely loved our stay at Kurula's. We got the premium chalet that sleeps 4 even though it was just the 2 of us. It was extremely comfortable and not to mention luxurious. The room has a fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom and best of all, your own Sauna which we made full use of! The views from the balcony is nothing short of a postcard. If you are taking a car rental I would highly recommend staying at Kurula's VS the city center because even the drive is picturesque and well worth it. Dalia and Haili at the reception was extremely helpful and super friendly to talk to. They really want you to make most of your visit. Despite being far from the city center, it is very close to the amethyst mine which is a unique experience in itself. If lucky you would get to see the northern lights from your very own balcony if the clouds are not there. We can't wait to get back to experience other seasons there!

Authentic cabin, you have entire unit for yourself. Newly furnished kitchenette is fully functional. Cozy sauna and a big fireplace. Drying cupboard is very useful. The hosts are super helpful and are ready to assist you during your stay. All essentials are there, everything that you may need. I loved their attention to details: there are spare batteries, nice pot to cook poronkäristys, and even cinnamon for rice porridge. Another aspect: we were happy we booked a final cleaning (and I recommend it to other guests), it saves you time and worries in the morning of check-out.
