Everything ! The stuff, the pool, the food and of course the heavenly beach!!!!! It’s a small and spectacular island. The location was amazing and you have a variety of snorkelling opportunities on the island. The food was really good ! We took the half board and it was really fine and perfect for us.

This was a special vacation where I proposed to my now-fiance. The staff were super friendly, both beforehand while I was setting things up via email (a special private dinner on the Helipad), and during. There was a small issue with our initial room but they more than made up for it with free upgrades and other benefits. The views are stunning and there's lots to do whether you want to stay in the resort full-time or go out on day-trips to other islands etc.

We loved our stay at Serenity Sands. The tents are amazing, and everything is new. The kids bunk room is a little small, but still comfortable. Verandahs are huge, and you can see the ocean from pretty much every room. Pool was the best part. There's 2 levels to it, with the top level having an infinity edge. Staff were extremely friendly. Shout out to Inoke, he took really good care of us.

The staff were great from start to finish.

The staff were great from start to finish. The beaches were amazing, great snorkelling. Food very good, wine list could do with improvement but cocktails and spirits great. Maybe a few more non alcoholic choices. Loved the free books at concierge. South Beach restaurant a great night.

Great snorkelling off of the beach, availability of snorkelling gear, kayak and other activities. The breakfast and dinner was included in the cost which was great value. Check in process was disorganised, rooms could do with an upgrade and some maintenance.

Having two beaches is a winner and it’s just a short stroll between both. One for relaxing and sipping cocktails or a drink in the water, kayaking, swimming and snorkeling (though the north beach is way better). Beautiful, easy walks. Staff were wonderful. Buildings are tired, but still fine. Bed was comfortable, water pressure good and there was a safe in the room. The food is very basic and the menu doesn’t change (travel was out of peak season). As a vegetarian it was incredibly limiting and stodgy, my tip is to ask for tofu to be substituted for meat in dishes such as stir fries and nasi goreng. Everything is about 50% more expensive on the island, so if you want treats and alcohol, take them with you! I’d go back.

This is a backpackers and an island one, so you can't apply city expectations to it. That said, talk about living in paradise. Kindly caring staff, fresh fruit for breakfast, friendly dogs and activities. Relax in paradise and learn to dive. Some great cooked dinners. They haven't got back to pre covid levels of business so please support! Clean sheets, good beer.
