Best Quiet Escape in Fiji! Just got back from an amazing stay at Wellesley Resort Fiji, and wow—it did NOT disappoint! My best friend and I were looking for a peaceful getaway, and this place was perfect. The hospitality was next-level—the staff were so warm and welcoming, always making sure we were comfortable. One of the best things about this resort? It’s an adults-only retreat, so it’s extra quiet and peaceful—no crowds, no noise, just pure relaxation. From the warm welcome until we left, we appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. Vinaka to Solo who answered our questions as we explored potential options for future conferences. The breakfast was well beyond our expectations! We were treated to a full cooked breakfast, all of which was served very graciously. Very elegant service and we enjoyed the experience as well as the delicious food. The room was comfortable and spacious also.

We are a family of four with two teenagers, and we stayed for three nights in a two-bedroom family villa. We truly enjoyed our stay. The villa itself was comfortable, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family. There was plenty of room for all of us, including our luggage, as well as extra space to relax—whether playing board games, having coffee, or watching TV. The furniture was comfortable, and the beds were excellent. Having two large sofas and two air conditioning units (one in each bedroom) made a real difference and ensured we all slept very well. The bathroom was large and fully functional, and the fridge was big enough to keep all our food fresh and protected from the heat and insects. We also appreciated the hot and cold drinking water dispenser. Outdoors, we loved the large, well-maintained swimming pool. It was not too deep—making it safe—yet still perfect for swimming and playing. There were plenty of loungers, shaded areas, and tables to relax. The main building, accessible 24/7, was also a great addition, with extra toilets, a shared kitchen, tea and coffee facilities, large sofas, a big table, and games (including table football). The location is also very convenient. Just across the street (about a 2-minute walk), there are three restaurants, including a great waffle spot. Maui Beach facilities are also right there, with an ATM, petrol station, and a small supermarket. This made everything very easy and stress-free during our stay. The beach access is immediate, which is fantastic. Paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkelling gear are provided free of charge. Right in front of the villa, you can snorkel during high tide (about two hours before and after) and discover a beautiful underwater world of corals and colourful fish.Another highlight was the staff. They were always smiling, welcoming, and available to help throughout the day (from as early as 7 am). Their kindness and willingness to support us really enhanced our experience.

We were met by Sam and Moreen as we pulled into the drive. We arrived about the time we estimated we would having driven from Nadi - about 3 hours at a leisurely pace. They greeted us warmly and said just to call if we needed anything. The apartment we had was upstairs above their home and was spacious with 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, kitchen and bathroom that had everything we needed. It was very homely and comfortable. The pool was large, clean and beautiful with large rocks around the outside that gave it more of an appearance of a natural pool in the countryside. We were told to ask Sam for coconut water whenever we wanted it - I did not realise that meant he went up one of the many coconut trees to collect fresh coconuts and then prepare them to be drunk out of and then eat the flesh inside - what a treat. The property is in a a residential area of large houses and away from the main centres and very quiet. We were shown through the other building that has 7 spacious rooms with ensuite and kitchenette also available and I would love to book the whole place with a group of friends. Best to have a rental car so you can venture out - we visited Suva (about an hour away) a couple of times. One day we went across the road to a resort that welcomes people not staying there to use some of their facilities - we hired sea kayaks for a few hours for only FJD 30. We purchased food from a nearby village, Navua where Sam also recommended a place to buy fresh fish, sadly we were there too late in the day and the fish had sold out. There is a large centre in Pacific Harbour being renovated currently as a culturaL centre and it will be good to go back and see how that develops. There is a park across the road with beach access if you are wanting to swim in the ocean. The owner of the property is based in Auckland and you can contact him via WhatsApp with questions also during your stay. He was always quick to answer and valued our custom.

We stayed 20 days in the resort ...... and we were sad to...

We stayed 20 days in the resort ...... and we were sad to leave. The staff, always professional and friendly, made us feel at home. Special thanks to Vety (Manager resort) Rizwan, Lufaiza and Raj, who didn´t let us miss anything, including the warmth of friendship.
