This hotel is a gem--a completely redone historical building that is both elegant and comfortable. Breakfast was in a glorious room with expansive water views. It's about a 10-minute walk downhill to restaurants and bars in Torshavn. The hotel has ample parking and is very convenient. In the lot next door sheep graze and admire the view. This place beats any soulless modern Nordic hotel.

I really like the arrangement of the room. The collage on the wall was a really nice touch to the room, with some historical information about the Faroes. The location is very near the dock and best restaurants in the area. I would like to stay there again.

The natural grass roof of this peaceful, design hotel matches the surrounding green countryside. All rooms overlook Nólsoy Fjord and central Tórshavn, which is 1.2 mi away. Wi-Fi is free.
