Brasilia hotel is located on the French Riviera, right between Nice and Cannes. It is just steps away from the beaches, city center and the hippodrome. The owners were wonderful, especially the lady was very helpful with any kind of task and always very very kind. The hotel is in the quiet street but close to the beach, to the town centre and shops, also to the historical site with the castle with beautiful views to the surroundings and old narrows streets. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

This is a vertical old village and not really set up for walking . Some very interesting old narrow streets and from the top, a great view of the sea. Having stayed at St Paul and Cagnes, I would pick St Paul.
Cagnes is a picturesque beautiful nice fishermen village between Cannes and nice. Lovely. Cost.nice beaches and good restaurants. Great area to stay and live for.long. in the backyard many beautiful tourist attractions. I am going there for 40 years and I keep on. That says everything to this wonderful and lovely home place
A quieter part of the Cote D'Azure, close to Nice airport. While most crowds head to Nice, Cannes, Antibes and Monaco, Cagnes sur Mer remains an almost forgotten destination. This local, artist inspired town (Renior to name but one) offers a mix of water's edge relaxation eating freshly caught fish in the plethora of good resturants, or visits to the historic old parts of town peacefully nestled at the top of Haut-de-Cagnes. Step back in time with a visit to this medieval village dating back to the 1300's and enjoy spectacuar views with a glass of chilled rose in your hand. Or simply rent a bed on one of the many beaches Cannes sur Mer has to offer and stare out to sea. This is an understated, yet elegant town that has remained true to itself and to those who simply love the southern French way of life. Don't go expecting bling or tourism. Do go if you want to find a place that has held on to something special and is willing to quietly share it with you.
Nice small town between Nice and Cannes. It is quite easy to commute between those two but only in the morning and afternoon. Within the town there is a small medieval part which is worth visiting. Locals are quite nice but hardly speak English. We are not big fans of french food with my partner so we ate pastas, pizzas, etc which were not good.
This is a good spot for access via train ( or car) to all that the Riveria has to offer without being too busy or overcrowded itself. My visits have been in February, so I can only comment on that part of the year. There are many very nice restaurants locally, just a comfortable spot to stay.
A great places to use as a hub for exploring the French riviera. Very close to Nice, Cannes and Monaco, as well as all of the interesting villages in the area. We found Nice to be the most interesting in the area, with a lot to do, regardless of what you like - Museum, food, beach etc.

The room was beautifully decorated, modern, fresh and clean...the bathroom perfect. We stayed in the studio at the rear, we had breakfast (pastries bought from local Boulanger with coffee made by the owner of the hotel) on our balcony. The staff were very helpful, on arrival the check in staff came with me to assist bringing luggage up the stairs to our room. Free parking directly below our room. There are restaurants nearby, we liked walking down avenue des oliviers to the restaurants, bakeries and fruit shops.

The location is absolutely amazing!! right in the center of French riviera life. Within walking distance to train station, bus stop is just in front of the building and you can easily get fresh croissants every day as patisseries and other local shops are 3 minutes from the hotel. The room interior is very warm and in French style so you can feel the local atmosphere. Everything you need is in place. The bed is big and comfortable. I highly recommend and we will most likely return there:)

Secure parking is available for a small fee. The breakfast was great with fresh baguette, croissants, great selection of cheese, cold cuts, fruit and even a freshly baked cake every morning. The owners are very nice and full of good tips for restaurants, things to see etc. Definitely recommended!

Our 2nd stay at Le Derby, and we'll be stopping over again at the end of our current holidays. We fly in to Nice airport and this hotel is only a 15 min drive away. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Good air con. The beach is just a short walk away and there is a good choice of restaurants close by. Really good value for money.
