HungaryI loved the proximity to everything in Cassis, and even though it was nothing mind blowing, everything was great, the bed was comfortable. They kept saying that it could be noisy since it's close to the city centre, but it wasn't noisy at all, we could sleep very well. Very nice for a short stay.

This was an excellent visit for a solo traveler.
This was an excellent visit for a solo traveler. There is a convenient bus from the train station into town and a lovely harbor. There is a good SPAR grocery store open 24/7 where you can find everything you might want to eat, snack on, or sip from your room. There are two close swimming beaches - be sure to bring water shoes because the beaches are small smooth rocks.
There is a lot to explore - small restaurants line the harbor. The boat trips along the Calanques (coves with steep cliff on either side) are a must and reasonably priced 21-25-29 euros. The electric bike rentals are fun. Cassis is a 20 minute ride on the train from Marseille.
It is easy to talk a day trip to Toulon, Ciota or other nearby towns.
I recommend a room with the harbor view - it is beautiful and well worth a small increase in price.
I will definitely return,

The view from our room was delightful!
The view from our room was delightful! Easy walk to restaurants and activities. We wanted a quiet and relaxing visit and that’s what we experienced. We walked everywhere. Dinner at Chez Gilbert and Le Poisson Rouge were both delicious and relaxing.

We had an absolutely fantastic 10‑night stay in Cassis this August — genuinely one of the best trips we’ve ever had. The whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. The location is perfect, giving you that ideal mix of peaceful surroundings and easy access to everything Cassis has to offer. Every day felt effortless and enjoyable.
The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and really well set up for a longer stay. We loved waking up to the sunshine, heading out for walks, exploring the port, and coming back to a place that felt like home. Everything worked perfectly, and the attention to detail made a huge difference.
Cassis itself is incredible — beautiful beaches, amazing food, friendly people, and so much to explore. Ten nights flew by, and we could easily have stayed longer. It’s the kind of place where you settle into a rhythm and feel completely relaxed.
Overall, a brilliant stay and fantastic value. We’d come back in a heartbeat

Cassis is a beautiful port town with a central shingle beach...
Cassis is a beautiful port town with a central shingle beach which gives way to sand at the shoreline. It's a French version of St Ives with a picturesque town clustered around the harbour area (but without the very sandy beaches). Super choice of restaurants, shops to poke about in, weekly market and the stunning nearby National Park. A great place to visit for a long weekend or as part of a trip to the region. It is easy to reach via public transport from Marseille airport (bus and train) or around 70 Euros in a cab.

We loved the fact that Cassis remains very French and very...
We loved the fact that Cassis remains very French and very few places made exceptions to accommodate English visitors, although we did have one French speaking member of our group. Without exception all restaurants managed to seat 10 of us.
It’s a wonderful bustling port, lots of atmosphere day and evening. Beaches very busy. Plenty of things to do though if you don’t want to sunbathe. The boat trips are well worth doing seeing the Calanques, kayaking was also a very memorable day for our family.
I wouldn’t hesitate returning to Cassis.

This is a very nice place. Very peaceful.
This is a very nice place. Very peaceful. The beaches are very nice, while they have pebbles and not sand, I still think they are great. You can hike around. Great food. If you want to just relax, this is the place.

Great location in Cassis. The room was spacious and comfortable, staff were helpful and welcoming and the spa and breakfast were great. We arrived by car and the staff sent options as to the nearest car parks given cassis does not have ample parking (the shuttle bus stop for the free parking is very close to hotel). Would definitely stay here again if returning to Cassis.

The location is superb, immediately you are in and around the port, and in a super short walk you're in the centre of Cassis, there are lots of restaurants quite literally just a few metres from the door of hotel too. From the room, the views over the port, especially in the evening light, were stunning. The room was clean, had good tv and a cute, albeit tiny, balcony.

The relaxed style and coziness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the breakfasts, and the exceptional views of the Mediterranean and the Cap Canaille made this hotel our favourite during our time on the Cote d'Azur and Provence. We will for sure be back at some point!
