Really great bar/restaurant and a good breakfast selection - we brought it out in the courtyard surrounded by trees, we could have spend some more time enjoying the crisp morning sun, but had a long drive ahead of us. Finally, the staff was very kind and helpful in accomodating our request.

Everything was impecably clean and the three gentlemen who helped me check-in, eat a fantastic steak dinner, set up a little breakfast buffet (only for me 🤭) and gave me reccommendations on good walking paths were very kind.

Ideal location - pretty town and good facilities.
Ideal location - pretty town and good facilities. The hotel was very good - right in the centre of town and parking available on site - Blanche de Castilllo. Great place to stay overnight when travelling through France.

Lovely hotel warm and friendly staff and great resturant. The town is a great place to walk around and it’s a perfect stop over returning to Uk. It took us 1 hour to drive leaving at 10 am on a Monday to get round Paris and to pass Charles De Galles airport too.

A lovely historic town.
A lovely historic town. We had dinner at the Pizza Restaurant next to the Castle which was really lovely and very popular. It was nothing fancy just pizzas, pasta and reasonably prized wine. There are a few patisserie shops with amazing cakes we’ll worth giving them a try. There was a market on the morning that we left (Saturday) with an abundance of local produce, beautifully arranged and very appealing. All extremely fresh and well worth buying.

It was perfect for our overnight stay.
It was perfect for our overnight stay. It is a charming place, lovely old castle to walk around, great Saturday market, dinner on the hotel's terrace was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Joao the host made us feel very welcome and went out of his way to make our one -night stay enjoyable. He has created a beautiful garden and very kindly gave us a guided tour. The guest bedroom is in a garden annexe close to the main house. It was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable.
The continental style breakfast was excellent and set us up for our onward journey.
The town of Dourdan is lovely with a good selection of restaurants.
We will definitely stay with João again, he is a great host.

Very highly recommended. It is so comfortable with a very clever interior design and beautifully decorated. I found everything I needed and very much appreciated the cold beer in the fridge after a long journey from UK! Very well placed and a few minutes walk to the centre of town. I was in Dourdan to visit a close relative in hospital there, also a short walk away . I will not hesitate to rebook.

The hotel is beautifully located on a wooded hill. Plenty of parking space on their closed and guarded estate. The hotel breaths an eighties atmosphere what I like so much. All very clean and tidy. Reception open 24/24. I arrived at 4 AM and still got a room. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect, will go there again.

Lovely location in centre of Dourdan, very convenient bus into south Paris.
A couple of really nice restaurants in Dourdan although it is a very quiet town.
