FranceThe hotel was easy to find even if it was very late (almost midnight), I could park really close to my room (very convenient!) and staff was most helpful and welcoming. Comfortable room, with a little terrace to drink coffee in the morning before leaving; near a nice walk until the village, great for walking with my dog. We truly appreciated the place!

It is a little town with just one attraction as the...
It is a little town with just one attraction as the Barbarosa fortress and the church next to it. And the greatest appeal is Pierre Richard winery 10 minutes away by car. But I absolutely fell in love with the town market, foods, wine and people. Real feeling of how perfect an ordinary town life can be, like a French film became the reality.

A place out of time, an old village of fishermen with a lot of charme. The village has a concentric plant around the ruins of an old military tower, lying between swamps for salt extraction and the sea.

We travelled with our 2 dogs through France to Southern...
We travelled with our 2 dogs through France to Southern Spain so this was a stopover for us. The location and facilities were both great. The dogs loved the garden, and we the local wine grown at the Chateaux!

We drove a little round the area.
We drove a little round the area. Narbonne plage was more to our liking than Gruissan, only 20 min away.
Restaurants nice. Food good.
Plenty of nice wine yards with good local products.
Few spoke English, not a problem for us but if you speak any French it can be a little challenging. But you will manage.
Primarily French people which I find refreshing when I go to see somewhere else.
Not far to old cities in the area.
You need a car if you want to see something more than just Gruissan.

Great location, clean, well equipped apartment. It was our first time visiting the area and we will definitely be back! There’s so much to explore by bike & by foot. Gruissan old town is very charming and lively on market days, with peaceful beaches nearby this place really does have it all! Pascale and her friends were super friendly and made us feel very welcome - we really appreciated the lovely local wine upon arrival after a long journey too, a very nice touch!

Excellent location with view of the beach and amazing sunrises. Easy layout of the chalet with modern fridge, freezer, cooker and plenty of crockery
A secure terrace for the dog and parking by the chalet. Quiet at night. Lovely beach or board walk to hotel bars ect still open in October. The concierge, Enzo was a pleasant young man and very professional.

Fabulous location, next to quay, restaurants, bars, short walk to Grazel plage which is dog friendly. The apartment is exceptionally clean and very well equipped, it has a small terrace ideal for outdoor relaxing. The host Maeva was so responsive, we could not have wished for more! Thank you
