Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike...
Guillestre is a great place to stay if you want to go bike up the local mountains. All relevant Col's are really close. The starts of the Col de Vars and Col de Risoul are just 5 to 10 minutes by bike from the town. One thing to keep in mind is that in mid to late September, a lot of the restaurants are closing early (and fewer days open per week) and don't have all the food available that's on the menu as it's the end of the season for them.Guest review byGLAJNetherlands
