Staff was very gracious and welcoming, and so patient with us, in spite of us knowing very little French. We were traveling by bicycle, and they were very accommodating and helpful. The room was airy and plenty spacious, and the bed very comfortable. It was fun to have a beer in the courtyard, where locals gathered at the end of their work day. The proprietor was so kind to us. She was an absolute delight.

Exceptional stay in a castle with our kids. The castle is placed in a beautiful surrounding within a very nice garden surrounded by the woods. We were very warmly welcomed by our hosts and had a magnifient Suite overseeing the garden. the morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast with our fellow travelers from across Europe.

Very welcoming owners, we appreciated the spacious garden, the possibility to rest there by the pool or on the terrace and to get the coffee. Very delicious and varied breakfast with local products (eggs with bacon, fresh apple juice, yoghurts...). This is definitely a place, where we would love to come back.

It's quite a small town, very pretty with nice little shops. The castle appears right in front of you as you enter the town centre, very imposing and beautiful. We did the tour of the castle which has a very interesting history. Had lunch at a nice restaurant on the terrace in the Square.

Several restaurants were closed so it was a bit challenging especially for a vegetarian but we were there in mid- Sept, slightly shoulder season. Lovely town nonetheless, and most tourists were French.

When we checked in, we were given a breakfast menu that we could check our preferences...very thoughtful. We were overwhelmed by the attention from what we thought was a Chambre d'Hôtes. The staff were attentive, available and made our stay memorable.

Only passing through so no time to explore the town, sadly. Charming host looked after us brilliantly. We were there during lockdown with no other visitors so it felt more like a visit to some friends than a chance booking. Bed very comfortable and spacious, and a good choice at breakfast.
